The fried fish served is fresh, tasty and good value. There is tables outside and you can order a drink from waiters from the next door restaurant while you enjoy your fish. It gets very busy and is used by a lot of the locals which is always a good sign.

The first time I went here, they wouldn't serve me because, clearly, I'm American. But I speak Spanish. I waited five minutes (no other customers, while I was ignored), and then I left. I decided to give them another try. I asked clearly for a specific amount of chipirones and merluza. She threw in some cheap squid and doubled the... More

The continuous line outside the Puerta de la Carne says it all, the fried fish served is fresh and especially good value. Although there are a few tables outside, it is still more like a shop than a restaurant. Excellent selection of deep fried seafood available, including cod, hake, octopus, squid, prawns and even chicken for poultry eaters. Excellent for... More

If you like fish this place is a must, the fish is so fresh, when a place is busy it is a good sign. I recommend the tomatoe salad with the fish, it is so tasty. You order what you want and you eat outside at a table or you can take it with you, it is in a lovely... More

Apparently a Seville tradition for nearly 100 years. Sit outside, grab a cervesa and chow down...not just great calamari, squid and cod, but nice chicken and yummy croquettes. Take an extra Lipitor and enjoy.

€6.50 for 3 small bits of dry boney codfish in batter. Got fed up picking the bones out my mouth. Not impressed.

It's an unprepossessing little place that's a bit like an English chippie. You order the book - either fried fish or chicken wings and it's handed over in a cone of paper. No frills. Drinks supplied by the restaurant next door are more steeply priced than in the other places we have tried but you can hardly grumble at tea... More

I walked by this place a few times as it was near to my hotel, then on my last night and not really in the mood for more tapas I gave it a try. It's set out like a British chippy but only sells fish (and chicken) and none of the familiar options. You can choose from 'fish dressing', 'anchovy... More

I've never felt that happy eating fish with my hands. You order your fish at the counter, pay for it and get paper cones with the goods. Seat outside and with no ceremony eat with your hands, heavenly. I don't know why but I just love this little shop. A must when visiting Seville.
