Service rushed. Good not so special. Maybe caught it on bad night, but at best this night it was mediocre, and was one heck of a heck uphill over very uneven surfaces not lighted. Take a cab. Overrated.

What could be better than sharing a delicious meal on a private terrace overlooking the illuminated Alhambra ? Not many better ways to spend an evening with friends, IMHO. Friendly and miraculously attentive service, given that the restaurant was full and we were at the top of three flights of stairs. Delicious food, although one of our group found his... More

We found this restaurant by chance, half way up the Albayzin, when we discovered the other restaurant we wanted to eat in was only open in the evening. Mirador de Morayma opens for lunch at 1.30. We didn't want a huge lunch, as we were planning on walking up a steep hill to visit the Alhambra, so we went for... More

Having made a reservation we were first given a table with no view outside. Most of the tables were empty but we were told it was full. We then took the option of the corner table inside with not a great view. Our steak was served absolutely cold. For a 70 euro dinner, a complete waste of time, effort and... More

Passing through the Albayzin up to Sacromonte we stopped in the early afternoon at this beautiful Restaurant. It is an authentic house nicely decorated with ancient furnitures, surrounded by a beautiful garden-terrace, tables covered with white linen facing the Alhambra. The view is spectacular, the service very friendly and attentive. Our late and light lunch was freshly prepared with good... More

This was a special treat for a friends birthday. They had requested a special place, and we were lead to a small balcony where only 3 tables were. Basically our own private corner! And the view over Alhambra was fantastic. Food was great, service was great (even though we were tucked away, they kept checking on us). Would recommend this... More

We booked ahead and requested a table with a view as it was a special occasion and boy what a view! We were escorted upstairs to an almost private terrace (just one other table) from where we were able to enjoy the most spectacular setting with the Alhambra lit up in the background. The food and service also did not... More

We were recommended Mirador de Morayma by a friend who came from Granada in response to our search for a perfect spot to celebrate my wife's birthday. I reserved a table some weeks in advance using the reservation form on the restaurant's website and followed up with an email requesting something a little special. Staying in the city centre, we... If you are in Granada and you want some of the best food available then, yes, you have to visit here. We had the 8 course tasting Menu and were absolutely amazed at the tastes and flavour combinations that the chef demonstrated. The Ox tail is particularly good, The Memsahib picked the bones clean with her fingers. Cod and fresh... More

Beautiful courtyard restaurant with commanding views of Alhambra. Arrive around 8.30pm to get a table and watch sunset. Enjoy the locals wines they have on offer. The lamb shoulder was incredible, the anchovies for starters were fantastic. Judging by the other dishes being delivered there were many great choices. A great dining experience.

In the Albayzín, the ancient Moorish quarter of Granada and a UNESCO’s World Heritage Site, you will find a beautiful restaurant with a spectacular view on the Alhambra. Mirador de Morayma displays an expertly cooked variety of local cuisine, as well as a wide range of wines, including the ecological wine produced in Alquería de Morayma, our country holidays estate in the region of Alpujarras. The best place to get your strength back after a promenade.
