Los Diamantes is on every recommended list and in Rick Steves's, which means that it has become a major tourist trap. There are three Diamantes locations, two by the father and one at Plaza Nueva by the son, all with identical menus of seafood-heavy tapas. We went to the Plaza Nueva store on the first night. All the interesting seafood... More

Good quality seafood. Very fast food. It came with amazing garlic mushrooms and the shrimp was good.

The atmosphere is mostly college younger crowd. Great place for a short break for a beer. Free tapas come with each drink. Communal sitting makes this place vibrate! It's fun

Great seafood place. Typical "tapas" place where you buy an alcoholic. Beverage and get a free tapa. Delicious fried goodness

We ate here on a Sunday night, we had wanted to see what all the different opinions on TA were about, but on Friday night it was just too rammed to attempt to get in. It certainly doesn't look much from the outside, but don't let this put you off. On Sunday we stopped for a quick drink at the... More

Basic but very nice tapas bar. Friendly staff and nice food. We were given a big bowl of berberechos with bread.

Amidst two rows of tourist-aimed tapas bars/restaurants is this small, unpretentious packed bar churning out simple, tasty tapas. We were the only non Spanish there, we think. So long as you are comfortable rubbing elbows with others as you make room for yourself to eat and get the bar staff's attention, you'll enjoy it here.

We weren't sure to get inside when we get there because it was over crowded but it's the beauty of this place. We found a corner just close to the entrance. Service was very fast and food was deliclous. The best fried shrimps i've ever eaten.

People aren't kidding when they say this is the best. "Free tapas" normally means pizza or potatoes or bread. Yuck. We had fried squid, tomato salad and French fries here that were all fresh and delicious. The best thing to do if you don't speak Spanish is to point at what others are having after ordering your drink. The servers... More

Very close to Alhamra historical area, nice and tasty seafood with a reasonable price. Assorted fried fish, octopus and prawns are best. Also chicken nuggets available for the kids.
