Relaxed atmosphere. Traditional Andalucian restaurant with lots of exposed brickwork and heavy dark wood interior. Delightful staff. Extensive menu with concentrates on everything Andalus. Wood oven to cook some excellent cuts of meat a la brasa. FAB wine list. Prices all very reasonable considering the...quality of the dining experience. Top quality fresh produce. Good table spacing in these covid times !More

This restaurant was recommended by a local resident who worked at the hotel where I was staying (Hotel Granada Central). Very few tourists, which is usually a good sign, and the food was quite authentic and well-prepared. Menus in all languages, but the staff will...also explain how things are prepared and what the ingredients are if you need to know. Having a bit a fluency in Spanish, or a good translation app with you, would help although the staff did speak some English.More

Pleasant atmosphere, outside the tourist route, frequented by locals. Choice of places to eat next to the counter or sit at tables. Good option to go with family. Good choice entrecot de ternera.

Came here on hotel recommendation and despite my ongoing shame on my lack of Spanish the waiter and waitress were superb. They were only bested by the wonderful food. Do not go there if you want two-bite portions of the latest herb to appear on...TV, surrounded by a few spots of gel or foam on a plate. But if you want superb tasting food in (ok, too much to be healthy) good portions this is the place to be. Muchas gracias!!!More

We visited this restaurant yesterday after reading about it on a food blog. We had the impression the sirloin steak was not prepared in a special oven and the meat had almost gone bad. It smelled strange in the beginning. We paid 21 euro each...for this steak. Really disappointing experience.More

Externally this restaurant is not particularly noticeable or atractive as it has a very unassuming entrance. However the Inside is surprisingly big. Very traditional spanish design interior with loads of exposed brickwork. Traditional menu to match - speciality is meat and fish cooked over wood....They do this very well. Warm welcome and attentive staff. Upper mid price range for Granada.More

The head waiter (owner) was very attentive in this lovely olde world restaurant close to Granada's university campus. Nice cocktails across the street (same owner) followed by lovely Spanish meal . Beautifully decorated place, excellent food , bit more expensive than some places but well...worth it. Highly recommend the Swordfish or salmon Note meals only served from 7pm (hence cocktails!) , Spanish eat late, it was beginning to get busy when we left after 9pmMore

Arrived at our hotel and searched for some where in easy walk this came up mostly good to excellent reviews personally I disregard any one that gives a below review a you cannot please everyone all of the time (opinions ) .personally I had good...service by friendly staff what ever we asked for came in good time we where not rushed and he food was very nicely presented . A frustration for me is food that's not served hot enough in some restaurants . That was NOT a issue here thank you for an enjoyable evening that was reasonably priced . only one minor negative charging for a bread roll when we had ordered soup starter never had that one beforeMore

A most unassuming entrance leads to a large traditional atmospheric restuarant. The menu was traditional and did not disappoint. As always a 'muse en buche' arrived with our drinks and was very tasty, setting the scene for the rest of the meal. Some of us...chose the meal of the day which was cost effective and very tasty. One of our party chose a dish off the main menu and that was outstanding. Friendly attentive service (with english!) we were truly replete at the end of our meal, and fantastic value too.More

Visited the place on a business lunch occassion. The restaurant is quiet and good for talks. Had a swordfish with grilled veggies - delicious! Along with the food, we tasted a few glasses of Spanish high-end wines.

The waiter told us they were known for their meat so when he finally returned to take our order it was disappointing to hear they were out of pig and lamb... The one meat dish we did get was tough rather than falling off the...bone. The food was generally fine but. Itching special. They have a large Spanish wine selection but not sure I would trust the wait staff to help with the choice.More

We found this restaurant on our penultimate night in Granada. What a find! Amazing. The food was outstanding ( apparently the owners also have their own wholesale butchers and they clearly keep the best meat for themselves) and the staff very attentive and welcoming. My...husband maintains that his 'chuleton de ternera' was the best he has EVER eaten. I have to agree, my sirloin was cooked to perfection. Clients who were there also recognised us on our last night and were also extremely friendly.More

Pepe was an attentive waiter with an excellent sense of humor given the fact that we lingered over our wine for hours. The lomo was delish. And this is a great place for non-Spanish speakers as the menus come in Spanish, English and one other...language - I believe German.More

The Galician octopus was really excellent, the shrimps showed the chef's mastery over a 'simple' dish like thisSucculent meat (entrecôte & lamb) accompanied by a very good 2008 local Shiraz/Merlot (Senorio de Nevada). Pleasant, and funny service. Decent price level. Wines are cheap.
