We were looking for somewhere to have a meal while travelling and saw reviews for El Olivo so decided to try it. Firstly, I ought to say that eating at midday on our way to Murcia is not the best way to enjoy this restaurant because the food deserves to be savoured. We were eager to get back on the... More

This is a gorgeous and authentic restaurant in Andalucia. It´s a set menu which consists of about seven small courses, (can`t remember exactly how many). 25 euros per head including wine, which is very good value considering what a lovely meal you get. The service is excellent, the chef comes and sits at your table to explain the menu. The... More

Old fashioned restaurant run by Don Miguel a gourmet chef who worked outside Spain and retired to his village and runs his own restaurant because he enjoys it. Book up because you are unlikely to find a free table if you don't. He only serves food at lunchtime and you get the food that he recommends. There is no choice.... More

I have been taken to this little wonderful restaurant by a friend while visiting Granada for the first time. I found the restaurant to be charming, filled with character and the owner (the chef) and his wife couldn't have been more hospitable. To top that the food was absolutely brilliant. The chef sat down at our table and recommended the... More

The draw here is the Chef, because of the quality of his food. He has worked around the world and has honed his food to perfection. Not an easy place to get if you don't have a car but worth the effort if you want a special multi-course meal. I have eaten there twice and the menu has been different... More

Great for people watching, not good value for portions served. decent service for a busy place. Was recommended by hotel desk as being close. I really meant to eat at Oliva, but confused the two similar names.
