La Castellana is in a hot-ticket area for evening gastronomical entertainment. Lively conversation is the mood music in this part of town. We decided to go for the obvious in an Italian restaurant and enjoyed both equally: spaghetti Bol and lasagne; well cooked, well presented if delivered by a rather frosty waitress who, in her defence, seemed rather under pressure... On our first visit to Granada on quite a cold day we wandered around looking for somewhere to eat and came across La Castellana. Most of the patrons appeared to be locals on their lunch breaks so that was a good sign for us that it must be reasonably good. We had a small table in a window but quite... More

This was our first dinner in Granada, outside watching the world slip by. Our waiter had no English but this was never a problem He recommended a great red wine from Granada and made our first night very relaxing and welcoming. Service was friendly . I believe our server was Miguf who treated us almost as family. The food was... More

Stopped of here for lunch. Good variety of menu. Waiters friendly and efficient. The food was served quickly and we even were given a free tapas with our drink. Highly recommended.

We sat down for a late lunch after a long day in the Alhambra. The staff were very friendly, we were served a starter of crackers and cheese "on the house" and it was great high quality cheese. For our main courses we had a pasta and a pizza that were both simple but fresh and tasty. A nice and... More

we were twice there. The service is great and friendly. The meat was tender and tasty. If you order a drink you will get a tapa, i.e. a small snack so there is no need to oder appetizers.the tip is already included and there were many locals and regular customers.

Had dinner here one evening as it was raining and it was literally across the street from the Melia Granada hotel where I was staying. Found the restaurant to be much larger than it looks from the outside as there is plenty of seating at the back. The front looks a bit like a pub! Had a great pizza which... More

We initially sat outside of this restaurant for a few cold beers and tasty tapas. We decided to eat here and we're not disappointed. We only had a pizza as the delicious tapas had meant we weren't hungry.

Title says it all. No wonder the restaurant was quite empty around peak lunch time. Pricey but which is still ok had the food tasted good. Absolutely not.

Food was pretty standard, which means pricey for what you get and also for what you get compared to other places in the city. Can't really complain cause everything was fine, but I don't think we will come back to it
