Service in this place is much more than you will receive not only in low-cost restaurants, but also better than many middle-cost I have visited in Granada. Food is simple, but tasty and much in quantity. Certainly worth visiting. And you will come back.

Christine that works or possibly owns this restaurant was adorable. Paella was wonderful. My friend had fried fish and it was delicious. Soup beginner was wonderful. The other family members that were there were charming and sweet.

Ok, so this café is definitely not posh. But it is a simple family run place with a charming girl who has the most amazing smile and welcomed us warmly. The omelettes were good. The food is home cooked to order. Not smart but quiet and friendly. Away from the hubbub and noise.

Wandered in here completely by accident, tired and hungry and just wanted something to eat. Grandfather sitting at a table in the centre surrounded by various younger members of his family. His grandson looked after us. The hospitality and service was great, the host charming, the food all cooked there and then and really tasty. We thought it was really... More

Just went here with my family and had a really good meal. It is amazing value for money with everything cooked up fresh. I couldn't work out why there wasn't a queue going down the street .... There certainly would be in London if they were located there ! Damned shame they aren't. We had the set menu. Chicken soup... More

For 7 euros per person we got chicken soup and a salad, I took calamares, my wife took the garlic chicken with fries, ice cream and a fresh fruit to finish things off. A glass of red wine is 2 euros extra Ask for the menu del dia...hard to beat for 7 euros each.

Chose this restaurant after reading some reviews and we were not disappointed. The whole experience felt like we were being cooked for in someone's home kitchen:) Food was great, freshly prepared and fantastically cheap. We have overdosed on restaurant food over the last 3 weeks and this felt like we were being cooked for by family or friends again. Chose the... More

We stopped in Pensión Veracruz for dinner, and had Gambas al Pil Pil, Sopa de Picadillo, y una tortilla de jamón. The gambas was perhaps the most delicious thing we have eaten in Spain -- we were told it was a recipe that has been passed down for three generations. The soup and tortilla were plenty good as well, but... More
