We walked around Granada for a week and hit about 35 tapas bars. Went to Taberna Salinas five times. Good variety tapas, good wine pours, exceptionally friendly staff. Daniel was a great host. We felt welcome and sat out front watching all the foot traffic...and gained a lot of local knowledge from talking with the staff. When we're in Granada it's a good stop, do it.More

We ate here on our first night in Granada. Had mixed croquetas to start followed by beef cheek and a pork dish. All delicious . Service was good and friendly.

I have no idea how this place gathered 4 stars...Service is incredibly slow and not very nice or polite. The food is nothing great either. I sent mine back because it was just salt 😣.

An ordinary place to sit and relax sipping a glass of wine and eat small pieces of grilled chicken outside on the tall blue chairs.

We stayed nearby and loved this gem of a spot. They had great drinks and tapas but it was really the service that stood out most. Over multiple visits we were mostly taken care of by Angela who was eager to make sure we enjoyed...our visits and very friendly. We also had the pleasure of having Carlos take care of us. He is very knowledgeable about wine and I learned a lot about Sherry from him. When we return to Granada we will definitely be stopping back.More

Found this gem on our first night and never looked back . The sangria , wine , pints of beer , delightful free tapas dishes and lovely friendly service were amazing . Luckily for us we were staying just a few yards up the road...from Taberna Salinas so this became our local . Perfect to sit out and people watch in the heart of the Albaicin area . Do not miss !!!More

My wife and I made 3 visits to the Taberna Salinas after stopping by on our first night and enjoying several glasses of red wine accompanied by a nice selection of free tapas. Even better the bill was only 12 euros for 4 glasses of...wine. Extremely friendly staff and a nice looking restaurant inside albeit we did not try this. Recommended.More

Stayed in Granada 4 days and went here twice, once had the the menu del dia, then tried something from the menu the second time. Both visits were enjoyable, with nice, English speaking waiters that were very helpfull. Drinks served promptly, and we both found...the food really good, all nicely priced. Nice pleasent bar in or out. Very busy on Saturdays, seemed popular with locals as well. Overall well worth a visit.More

The little cast iron pot was the tapas (given free in granada with any drink to celebrate the homeplace of tapas). It was a gorgeous, melt off the fork pork in a gorgeous possibly apple gravy. My friend had ox or beef cheek which yummy...and I had a massive plateful of calamari. All gorgeous. Nice atmosphere, centrally located, generous brandy portions (hand poured) and really tasty house red wine. Yum!!!More
