Fab decor, great food, dreadful service my main course came up with meat platter & salad some 20 mins apart my Wife's main course didn't turn up at all, so we then had to wait a further 20 mins for it to be cooked, good job my meal was cold cuts and salad so it was ok to wait for... More

We went to Puerto del Carmen on our last night in Granada. We had been "fine dining" all week and wanted something a little more casual. We had not made a reservation so had to wait 20 minutes. We were served lovely tapas with our drink at the bar whilst waiting for a table and then had very good food... More

Do eat inside - the interior is pretty stunning. Importantly the food and service is excellent, The fish dishes and salads we had for lunch were beautifully presented and delicious, though just sitting at the bar with a cold drink would be just as nice. Thoroughly recommended.

We did a bar and Tapas crawl up the touristy Calle Navas & Calle deal Rosario but were craving a choice of wine. This place fit the bill perfectly. A late night cheese platter and lovely bottle of Calvente Guindalera (we might have had 2!). Lovely ambience, great service and a perfect finish to the night.

We stopped here for coffee and the service was as if we had ordered a banquet - the free tapas was amazing - so we decided to go there a few nights later for dinner, we were not disappointed, everything is just wonderful at this restaurant, the food is really good. When you get to desserts try the "selection of... More

On a corner of a pretty square, you walk inside and immediately feel a buzz and sense of history - a lovely original polished wood bar to sit at, tables inside and out, leaded lights and an amazing little tiled counter with huge Iberico and Serrano hams hanging on display. We were saving ourselves for dinner the day we visited... More

Centrally located with great staff and brilliant tapas. We visited with the family for drinks one evening and were well looked after by our lovely waiter. Tapas was delicious and drinks reasonably priced. We enjoyed a bit more space than on crowded Calle Navas but still felt at the centre of the action. We returned a couple of times more.... More

Everything we ordered had been prepared with care. Every dish was tasty and well executed. Very recommendable. It is a place for people who love quality. Though it is almost at the entrance of calle Navas, it is a place above all others in that famous tapas street.

I recently helped arrange and then attended a birthday celebration at Puerta del Carmen....12 people for extensive tapas and drinks. And it was uniformly excellent. I was honestly, a bit surprised , because after the birthday girl picked this spot , I went to TripAdvisor to check reviews, thinking I'd get some hints about some particular menu items that were...
