Reviewed yesterday NEW

In my experience, I have generally found that the better the view a restaurant has, the worse the food and service tend to get. This is the first restaurant I have been to where I have been equally pleased with the view and the food. Getting to watch the Alhambra and enjoying a delicious meal was one of the highlights... I'm going to be short in describing the food, because honestly I don't think it is the main reason people come here. The food is fair. The French onion soup was ok, but only that. The cod was delicious, but the pasta was a bit more al dente than I have seen anywhere else. We didn't have dessert. However, most... More

This restaurant has the BEST view of the Alhambra. It sits on the opposite hill so we watched the sunset on the towers and walls & then enjoyed the spotlights after it was dark. Our table was perfect & very romantic. It was at the center window facing the Alhambra. We enjoyed that Spanish restaurants don't try to 'turn' tables.... More

Just the views alone made visiting this restaurant worthwhile! With a window seat with clear views of the Alhambra on the opposite mound, anything would taste great! We loved the fried aubergine appetizer, and the cochinillo (roast suckling pig) was just the way I like it - tender meat and crispy on the outside. The waiters were a bit oppressive... More

Was a special occasion and therefore we were given a table with phenomenal views. The service was great from start to end and the food was divine. The cheese fondue was the highlight. Great wines and breads also. It's a very nice walk up to the restaurant also.

We stumbled across this cafe while looking for the best views of The Alhambra, which we'd toured earlier in the day. There was the tourist-packed adjacent San Nicolas Church courtyard, so we were excited to find this just-opening cafe with an empty table from which we could watch the sun set on The Alhambra while having pleasant beverages and food,... No doubt, the view is the best! The food..... shame on you! First, we had a reservation, but when we got there, they couldn't find my name on their book. With my hard copy of reservation confirmation, we were seated at the second floor with really nice view. For the main dish, we ordered duck liver and ox tail. Nice... More

What a view ! Near the church San Nicholas ( second highest point in Granada) with a view of the snow capped mountains , La Alhambra and spectacular views of the city. But wait we came for the food. Yes, the food was as spectacular as the view. The service was just right, not intrusive at all. I highly recommended... More

Great hamburger! A bit pricey but worth it for the view of the sunset over Alhambra! Service was good and a very nice spot above the city.

The first thing you see when you enter the restaurant is a load of terrible old, dusty dolls and the worst kind of kitsch knick knacks (hate that expression, but hate what it describes more). This restaurant only survives because of the exceptional view of the Alhambra across the valley. We were the only people there. It desperately needs a... More
