Visited this restaurant as I read they served the best steaks. Was quite disappointed as the food was average. I ordered the shrimp starter which was lukewarm and artichoke which were ok and the steak tenderloin which was over cooked. For the money, this place...is overpriced. Best to stick to the local bodegas of which there are several very good choices.More

Wow! A friend of mine and I were looking for a great place for a steak and this terrific restaurant for the bill perfectly. The service was attentive without being cloying and the man who came to our table showed great knowledge and passion for...the restaurant’s specialty—steak! We started with and amuse bouche provided along with bread service. It was a red cabbage crema to drink and it was rich and deeply flavorful. A perfect start. The bread was hot and served with a wonderfully fruity olive oil that we both loved and wanted to buy a bottle! Then we had the grilled artichokes with romesco and the were superbly prepared, tender and flavorful. The romesco was easily one of the best I have tasted. My friend ordered a ribeye and I the blond tenderloin. Mine was definitely the best filet I have ever had in a restaurant. My friend’s ribeye was also very good as she let me taste it! We ordered sides of grilled vegetables, which were excellent and plentiful. We needn’t have ordered another side but the spicy potato wedges were very delicious and a great complement to the steak. Dessert was the apple tartlet, which was a deconstructed, apple-forward dish that wasn’t too heavy and was gently sweet. Having read several reviews before going, I would strongly disagree with anyone who thinks it overpriced or overreaching. It was what if promised — an excellent steakhouse.More

The atmosphere was very nice, warm and cozy. The staff are super helpful at explaining the menu and the steak cuts, etc. So no need to worry. To start, the bread was in a warm bag when it arrived, it was very crunchy on the...outside and soft on the inside so overall wonderful quality bread. However, some people might find annoying is that there was no plate to eat the bread. The ribeye was mediocre. It was a bit tasteless but at the same time had a huge amount of fat. The fat wasn’t rendered enough, I don’t recommend. It was the opinion of the party that the grilled vegetables was the star dish.More

Overall a great dining experience. We were seated quickly and our server walked us through the menu in English - minor challenges understanding, but manageable. We chose from the "Large Steak" section, which was a series of cuts that was big enough (800+ grams) for...4 people. We selected the Finnish steak and had it done medium rare and we were very satisfied with the simple seasoning and the cooking. The different seasoning salt on the side was also a nice touch. We also ordered the pork belly with mussels and artichokes for appetisers. Pork belly did not disappoint at all. The flavour was exquisite and the meat was just perfect. The artichokes were OK, but not something I would go back for. For sides, we ordered the Grilled Vegetables and Grilled Potatoes. The Grilled Veg was perfect. Firstly we found the service of the waiters terrible, 1 of the waiters didn’t want to communicate with English speaking people and the other was simply blunt.
