We tried Moroccan cuisine for the first time here; it was fantastic. We fell in love with it. As some reviewers said that this is authentic, we were very lucky to have dined here, without reservation. The owner is very sympathetic and speaks several different languages. A very good service. The ambient atmosphere is very Islamic Moroccan. The food... we... More

This is the most authentic Moroccan restaurant outside of Morocco. The owner is from Casablanca and he makes sure customers are happy. We both ordered the lamb with olives and lemon on couscous. The lemon wasn't preserved, but otherwise it was perfect. The decor is really interesting and lends to the feeling of being transported to another country.

I enjoyed my dinner here. Bread came out piping hot, the server recommended the vegetable tajine to me and it was very good. I also had the hummus which was quite nejoyable.

I ordered the appetizer for two, chicken with onions & raisins couscous, and beef meatball tagine. The food was good but it was very flavorful. It is a good introduction to Moroccan food but not outstanding.

This place has a good reputation online and locally, a guide in Granada who does food tours recommended it to me. However, I didn't enjoy my vegetable couscous very much. It seems like a triumph of quantity over quality to me. Ok, at 13.50 Euro you expect quantity, but it just wasn't very flavorful. The homus appetizer was good, but... More

This restaurant is in Lonely Planet for a reason and you really need a reservation to have dinner. The food is delicious and authentic, decor is wonderful and the owner is very hospitable. We enjoyed our food very much. However, the other staff act as primarily bus-boys and the owner is the host, waiter and manager - giving directions to... More

I've eaten and cooked a LOT of Moroccan and North African food and I can say this was a very good culinary experience. The food was authentic and quite good and definitely the best meal we had in Granada. However, Granada doesn't set the bar very high in my experience. Moving on ... The service ... Imagine Fawlty Towers in... More

The setting is as eloquent as the food! Inside this beautifully-tiles restaurant are authentic Mediterranean dishes bursting with flavor. Highly recommend any of the couscous dishes!

Wonderful Middle Eastern food in a warm and welcoming setting. We started with the salad sampler for two, it came with fresh flatbread for dipping. The tangine lamb with almonds and prunes was flavorful and tender. The tangine lemon and olive chicken was delicious. Try the homemade lemonade with mint...it's a perfect accompaniment. We finished with a lemon tart and... More
