Delicious Moroccan food served at great haste! Fastest dinner I have ever eaten outside of McDonalds!

Wonderful Moroccan food with vegetarian possibilities. Our group had chicken tagine, beef with raisins and nuts, and rice with vegetables. All were very good. The man who seated us seemed to speak every language that was spoken to him. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming.

We could not have picked a better spot in Granada for dinner and ringing in the New Year. Our host and his staff at this lovely Moroccan restaurant treated us to amazing hospitality! We enjoyed an appetizer medley with fluffy pita bread followed by briquettes...of filo filled with chicken and with seafood. We then had lamb tagine and chicken tagine. The sauces were flavorful and delicious. This was followed by a chocolate dessert and the Moroccan mint tea. A belly dancer arrived around 11:30 to entertain the packed restaurant. The staff then distributed party favors and the “12 grapes” Spanish NYE midnight tradition. We counted down to midnight with our host and the staff. Such a fun night of hospitality, conviviality and fine food!More

Busy Restaurant so ensure that you have a reservation. Located in the heart of Al-Baicin. Great ambiance and service. Chicken Tajin and Lamb with rice were exceptional.

Great food and ambiance. The restaurant is not that big so if you’re going in a group (we were a group of 7), better make a reservation. Good service, our waiter knows English so it was helpful. He was a bit on the nosy side...though. The restaurant is located on the hill so you’ll need to climb up some stairs. My sister has knee problem so it was quite a climb for her. Very clean, unique and huge restroom.More

The reviews of this restaurant were not wrong. The food was delicious, the service was fast and efficient, and the owner was warm and welcoming. He went to every table and greeted every person as if he were welcoming them to his home. Well worth...a visit.More

The food was mediocre at best. Service was terrible. Couple of waiters who came by our table could not care less what we wanted. On our first day in Granada we tried Moroccan food at Palacio Andaluz and we loved it so much. So we...wanted to try a different Moroccan restaurant, so we came here. We would have disliked Moroccan food if we had tried this place first.More

If you didn't know about the place from reading a guidebook, you would not think to make a reservation, and you would not find it as you walked past on your tramp to the top of the hill of the Albayscin. But it's there, not...at the namesake establishment on main street, but a short walk uphill to an address almost nondescript outside and a riot of color and luxurious Moroccan decor inside. You feel welcome even though nobody calls your name. The owner circulates and hobnobs with the guests, speaking fluent English, Spanish, Arabic, and perhaps a few more languages. He is suave and easy to converse with. His recommendations for what to order: two appetizers and two or three entrees, is perfect, and the mint lemonade is wonderful. The waiters are attentive and leisurely as is typical in Spain, which is fine because you are expected to sit for a while and you came to dine, not just to eat. The food comes in courses, starters first, and it's simply wonderful. If you've spent your time in tapas bars and the like, you might be craving a little salad or vegetables, and might have developed an aversion to yet again eating something dried, fried, boiled, braised or stuffed into tubular skins, that had once grunted and wallowed or swam. So, try the chicken and lamb dishes and the wonderful salads in the appetizer, and the leavened pita-like bread that accompanies it. The prices are very good and, because this is a genuine Arabic restaurant in a historical Moorish quarter, the experience is priceless.More
