There is so much to choose from here that your mouth will be watering by just standing in front of the counter. Very helpful staff and great produce.

This was not on our radar during our week in Granada, but on the way to another bakery we happened upon Panaderia Maria, which is a neighborhood bakery. (Note: The facility in the back is large enough to supply many other shops) What an absolute...delight this bakery is. The staff is friendly enough and the prices are almost unreal. We walked away with a large loaf of bread and a pastry for each of the seven of us with a total of 7 euros!! I feel like I robbed the place at that price! Don't let the lack of reviews fool you. Do not miss Panaderia Maria!More
We stumbled on this bakery by accident but what a find! Wonderful, absolutely selection of bread, pastries and pasties, and an incredibly patient member of staff who coped with our non-existent Spanish with a lovely sense of humour.
Well Hidden, but worth going there. E.g. the "tarta de zanahoria" is excellent, Arabian bread sticks out, kept fresh for 2 days unlike your "kebab" pide. And the lady with a black bandana who sold the bread made this visit whole. That is how bakeries...in Andalusia should be. Honest.More
We found this authentic neighborhood bakery by accident, and what a treat. We had been looking for places just like this during our entire bike trip around Andalucía, and hadn’t really found any. As soon as we saw it we knew we wouldn’t be disappointed....We tried a cake with a custard filing that was covered in dark chocolate. The piece was enormous and very good. The empanadas that we got for lunch; however, were the BEST we have ever had. They had a number of different fillings and we tried the two vegetarian options. The filling on both was scrumptious and the crust was amazing. Although they looked like a traditional empanada, the crust was more like a croissant. You bit into it and your taste buds immediately took you to the greatest French bakery. All the empanadas we’ve ever had the dough has been more structured and heavy and these were anything but. I’m not sure we can ever go back to the “old” version. They were so light, flaky and tasty that our only regret was that we hadn’t purchased more than 3 of them for our lunch, since we bought them to eat on the road as we left town. And to top it all off, the prices for all their desserts, takeaways and breads were really inexpensive.More
