I had high expectations for this place although I thought it was ranked higher here than it actually is. I went for their supposed specialty dish, the baby lamb - they brought a tray of it out to show me, so clearly it was already...More

This is the traditional Spanish/Andalucian restaurant which you must visit if you are in Torremolinos. There were many locals and not many tourists inside. Try jamon, artichokes, garlic soup, roasted leg of lamb and ask the waiter for advice about some great red wine from...More

The beef was really good and went well with the red wine. The pepper sauce was tasty but however the el botijo sauce lacked flavour.

If you're looking for a restaurant away from the usual Carihuela promenade type restaurant, go back a few roads and find authentic Spanish cuisine at El Botijo. This is a large and spacious restaurant, with crisp white linen tablecloths and napkins. The waiters are courteous,...More

We were recommended by a local hotelier to use the restaurant. On our arrival I was impressed by the decor and the cleanliness of the restaurant. We took advantage of a table on the patio. The waiter spoke highly of the food they served and...More

It's Spain. So when you visit this beautiful part of the world I suggest live in their time zone. Wake early. Lunch at 1400, sleep till 1730, shop/work till 2100 THEN go for dinner at 2200.

Restaurant of castellan cuisine. Our speciality are roasted lamb, meats on the grill, traditional pottages, Iberian ham, grilled vegetables and homemade desserts. We have a large wine selection from La Rioja and Ribera del Duero. You can enjoy a lovely meal in our refectory or our terrace.
