Located on the long walkway, on the beach , the menu was standard, the service adequate, the cost for 4 mains and 4 drinks 64 euro, but nothing inspired me to want to go again. So if I would try somewhere else, why don't you?

Dropped in here for a Sardines on Skewers Lunch with a mixed salad. Absolutely gorgeous. Salad large and sardines perfect. The chiringuito is clean and tables set properly with fabric table clothes and glasses etc. The staff were very friendly and the food arrived in a timely manner. Would certainly return.

We ate lunch here twice in four days ! The menu del dia is so reasonable at €10 or €11 per person. Every thing is cooked freshly and the seafood is amazing. The first day we had avocado and prawns to start, fresh salmon in a champagne sauce to folllow and fresh strawberries to finish. All this for €11 including... More

We have ate many, many times in this Chiringuito since arriving in December for a 2month break. The menu of the day is incredible value for money. The staff are friendly, professional and charming. It has constantly been full of local Spanish people, always eat where the locals eat because they would not go back to a restaurant that was not... More

This place is right on the doorstep of our hotel.Tried to get in several times without success as we were a party of seven and it always seems to be full, but that,of course , is a measure of just how popular the Jabega is. We finally managed to get a table for lunch one day and found the food... More

While on holidays recently my Husband and I met friends for lunch in Chiringuito la Jabega. The restaurant was very busy but we got a nice table fairly fast with a great view of the beach. We had different fish dishes and they were all delicious from tuna salad and sardines and fish skewer and sword fish. We had some... More

After a steady walk along the prom looking for somewhere to lunch we spotted the lunchtime specials boards. Always a bit sceptical about specials boards we decided to take the plunge anyway. Unbelievable value for money. Sardines , fish soup , swordfish , tuna salad , bread , 2 beers , water and fruit salad all for 20 euros. As... More
