The name means sardine fishing boat and as you would expect it's mainly a fish and seafood restaurant though, being right on the beach, perhaps it's more of a chiringuito. Whatever, all the fish is so fresh you can almost smell the sea. It's very popular, especially at lunch times and especially for the locals in the know. You can... More

Visited this excellent eatery last week for lunch. Excellent choice of freshly prepared seafood. Extensive choice of dishes served by very efficient staff. The place was very busy which is always a good sign. Prices are very reasonable and the location is right on the beachfront . Would definitely recommend it.

Take a stroll along the prom and pass by all the modern looking chiringuitos that serve mediocre food. You will reach the more traditional "El Sardina" where you will find great fish expertly cooked and good service.

Set right on the beach with seating in front and sunbeds behind is this excellent fish restaurant. It's at the Eastern end beyond the main drag of Torremolinos, and is better for that. Good / efficient service if a little brusque. An interesting and varied menu, the dishes were tasty and generous. There are few clear 'starters' or 'mains' so... More

There is an abundant choice of 'chiringuitos' along the beach, but this one serves consistently good food. On this particular visit we sampled pepper salad, adobo, calamaritos, tortillitas de camaron, rosada ali oli, coquinas (delicious - not a bit of sand in them), and, of course, several espetos or sardine skewers. The service was friendly and very efficient.

Between Torremolinos and Malaga (Paseo Los Alamos) you will find this very nice fish restaurant (chiringuito) right on the beach. Always a good place to stay when flying back home as it is also close to the airport. They serve all the typical fish platters which are really excellent, reasonably priced and better than what similar touristy eateries offer. The... More

Really bad service by a sullen, dull waiter who hardly spoke at all even though I speak good Spanish. Food was ok but not worth the bad experience with the staff.
