After nearly 3 years absence, due to Covid, I went back to the Lanjarron. Great news , this restaurant is still as good as ever or even better. My wife and I stayed 5 nights in Torremolinos and had 5 dinners at the Lanjaron. The...menu is always perfect, - great entrees, delicious mains, seamless service and always so reasonable. You can't believe what great value you are getting and how good the food is. Spanish cuisine at its best.More

I stumbled across this place when I saw a queue waiting outside. It was early afternoon and mid-week and thought it strange that there were people queuing outside. I and two friends joined the queue and waited about 20 minutes before finding a table. It...was fantastic. There's a set lunch menu (dirt cheap) or the Al la Carte menu which is also very good value. The food was beautiful and freshly prepared by three guys who were diligent, helpful and also spoke some English. The mussels were out of this world! A place definitely worth a visit if in Torremelinos.More

A short wait for the table as it was very busy, even on a Wednesday. Beer came in a frosted glass and the vodka lemonade serving was very generous for what we paid for. Ordered ham, pasta, steak and salad. They were all amazing. Service...was very fast and friendly. Would recommend to anyoneMore

Had a lovely father's day lunch, as always. Lamb specials in Sundays, Escalope Milanese, fried anchovies. Also had calamari and prawns pil pil. Not pictured Delicious, fresh and tasty. Service is good and everything was as good as ever. A favourite place for lunch or...dinner. Besodes the food, dessert is divine. Coconut ice cream that is super tasty. My daughter loves the bon bons. Remember to leave room for their desserts!More

This is a good local restaurant don’t expect five star service , but what you do get are very large portions of fresh home cooked food. The prices are amazingly low with a good menu of the day worth giving it a try.

From I entered the building with my wife we were met with bad service. Grumpy waiter who treated me badly but seemed ok with my wife (maybe due to my skin colour?) Food was ok, but we just felt uncomfortable the whole time and couldn't...wait to get out. We made a mistake because the place was recommended but after we realised the Nuevo Lanjaron next door was the place that we was recommended to us. We won't returnMore

a wonderful place, where you can drink from the fountains and springs of Sierra Nevada, just like the ancient Arabs who conquered Spain more than 500 years ago.

I visited the older Lanjaron last March late in the evening but most of the foods were finished but that time so no comments. It was all ok and very affordable. Now it is July and I visited the new one next to the old...one. I had a 3-course lunch, at it was just perfect considering I paid 7 euros for all this including a big glass of wine. Full of local people or Spanish on holiday, who knows. It's a great place to visit if you want a local feeling at very affordable prices but and good quality. Make a booking if you come in the evening.More

My friend raved about this place, she'd been a regular a few years ago but I found it just barely run of the mill: basic fare, slow service, crowded, tables almost touching and nothing spectacular about the menu. My meal wasn't the warmest either. I'll...give it a miss next time.More

Our first trip to this lovely restaurant was a few months ago, when we had the menu del dia. The food was wonderful and the staff so friendly that we are going back later this month May 2019.
