Been to Mulligans 3 times now. But maybe not again.
Firstly the food was loverly. The service was good also.
This is why I give 4 stars.
BUT... beware of this Big Burly bloke at the bar who I'm presuming is the boss. I say...watching the Footie on my last visit at the bar. This bloke shouted and abused his female staff. He was horrible to them...now ok it was all in Spanish and I only understood little things but it was clear he wasn't being friendly. I've never felt more uncomfortable sitting at the bar. No one tried to speak to me or ask if I was ok or did I want another drink. My advice...stay outside have a nice drink or food with friendly staff. Do not go inside and sit at bar....a very different place.
A great spot just off the main strip of San Migeul Street, a people watchers pub!
Staff really efficient and friendly, nice choice of beers and lagers, nice menu at good prices, large TV outside so excellent place to watch matches.
6 of us had dinner here, we got a selection of food. The food is nothing special, the likes of the burgers are just frozen processed ones. The waitress looking after us was excellent. The next day we decided to pop in and watch an...Irish rugby game. When we arrived a premier league game was on so we asked would they be putting on the rugby for kick off. We were told yes. At kick off time they decided they were going to finish out the premier league game and a miss most of the first 1/2 of the rugby match. Strange for an Irish bar not to be showing and Irish game over a English one.
We just left, and we are glad we did. Up the road we found a proper Irish bar (Doyle’s, just up the hill 2 minutes). The drinks were 1/2 the price and the food was excellent.More
We only found this place ( or rather, passed it before but had always eaten previously before,) towards the end of our holiday. Probably the most varied menu amongst similar bars in Torremolinos. Perfect for a coffee, a light snack or a full meal. Walking...inside, it smells and feels like a real Irish pub, too. The toilets are spotless, the service is good - can't fault it. We'll be back...More
