We went for lunch today and we were very disappointed because the food was all deep fried and frozen. The calamari is more like a frozen onion rings but not as tasty as an onion ring!! . The prawns were tasteless and again most likely...come from frozen and the chicken wings were heavily coated and deep fried. This is a real shame because it is a lovely setting with nice staff however the lady who runs it actually said she really likes the calamari after we mentioned how terrible it was which is quite concerning.. I think this place is best to come for a cheap breakfast or a drink...More

Just love this little restaurant on the Marbella paseo, everyone - if you’re on your own, with family or part of a group - is made to feel special and welcomed by the proprietor Ruth, and her attention to service and detail is exemplary. Lovely...food and plenty of variety with daily specials and a great value Menu del Dia. The fish and chips I can thoroughly recommend and also the sumptuous Sunday roasts, but there are also local Spanish and Mediterranean favourites always available. The location, on the most lovely stretch of the paseo, is perfect - with a stunning view through palm trees to the beautiful sea beyond.More

I would like to echo the very many positive reviews for this beautifully situated restaurant on the promenade. You will experience the best cooked English breakfast in Marbella and their Sunday roasts are fab too - such mouth watering crunchy roast potatoes. Prices are very...reasonable and the food is freshly cooked and prepared. The English owners are lovely and always remember you, even waving to you as you pass by. They address everyone by name. No need for them to stand outside and hassle you to come in as it is clearly popular with both regulars and holidaymakers and the owners treat all their customers as if you are the only people in Marbella who matter. A firm family favourite of ours and our first stop when we arrive as it is always a pleasure to visit.More

The Blue Palm is located on the Paseo Maritimo between Playe del Faro and Playa de la Fontanilla. Its terrasse is right is sea view. Its owned by Ruth and Nigel who are adorable and who have been here for years, They are friendly and...lovely and if you want to have an amazing english breakfast on a sunny Terrasse, this is the place to go. The English breakfast is the best you can have in Marbella and you can add fresh orange juice, coffee the way you like it (english, italian, american). Jsut a good way to start the day. I have not had the opportunity to have lunch at the Blue Palm but had the occasion to have a drik in the afternoon and the atmosphere is just as friendly as it is in the morning :) EnjoyMore

The Blue Palm is a brilliant place for food and drinks! We've eaten breakfast and lunch here for the past 5 years and the quality is the same everytime. Ruth is always friendly and welcoming, she even facilitates my dads fussy eating!

We stopped for coffee one day whilst out walking mainly because a middle aged waitress spoke to us so friendly. We had a lovely coffee with a scone for me and the most amazing carrot cake ever. Whilst eating we saw some wild dolphins play...in the sea. There were blankets to keep warm whilst sitting in the February sun. The service was great. We enjoyed it some much and the price was so reasonable that we called for a light lunch on another day. We both had Cornish pasties, which were cold in the middle when they arrived. However, we alerted the waitress who soon rectified the situation.More

We have eaten at the Blue Palm 3 times in the two weeks we have been here. We have not been the least disappointed in either the service or the food or the jugs of sangria. Their daily menu consisting of 3 courses, is 10€...and a jug of sangria is 10€. Cannot beat the price and they maintain a great quality in their food. Sundays are roast days. Choice of roast prime rib, roast chicken or roast lamb starting at 10€ for 1 course. Heads up it is cash only but banking machines are close by. The owner, Ruth, is very personable and is happy to help her patrons with whatever their needs be. Their is also gluten free products available. It is our favourite restaurant and we will be back a couple of times before we leave. Have not tried anything from the main menu yet. CJMore
