Gorgeous tapas - the best we could find in this hidden away gem of a place in the old town. Very busy & bustling - the staff are wonderful hard working & ready to serve you quickly & efficiently. Great fino too!

Visited here on the recommendation of our taxi driver. 5 of us had sangria and tapas. Waiter who served us spoke good English and was friendly. If you're passing and there's room then pop in but like other places in the Old town it gets very busy.

Hard to find but well worth the effort. Local bar serving great tapas, croquetas (2.90), lagostino pil pil (7.80) patatas fritas (5.00) washed down with a crianza rioja (15.00). Great bar.

Imagine walking away from the plastic glitz of new Marbella and all the falseness of Puerto Banus and all of a sudden you find yourself in a small, traditional square surrounded by orange trees. You sit down for a cold beer and wonder how you'd never found this area before. Intrigued, you talk a walk around the little backstreets surrounding... More

Fantastic place in Marbella's Old Town in what must be the narrowest and most characterful lane! Friendly, hardworking, efficient, nice people serving with no fuss. They do the job and just get on with it. We're on holiday 3-10 August 2016 and have been in at different times of day (lunchtime, pre- dinner & late at night) for drinks &... More

We were 5 and without reservation, anyway we were sent away with a couple of words, without trying to find a solution like no thanks bye bye,we don't need other clients. Not professional way to manage busy situation... think about this when you won't be so busy!!

Experience a traditional tapas bar. Little hard to find this place in old town Marbella but it`s worth it. They speak a little english but it does not matter, I only speak some words spanish and it works fine. Very friendly and excellent tapas. Try it :)

Visited here after a recommendation from someone we know. We were not disappointed because the bar was truly Spanish with great food, drink and service. The bar/restaurant is used by the Spanish locals and tourists alike. The bar is a little tucked away and needs to be searched out but worth it. Great price and excellent service. A true taste... The service in El Estrecho was friendly and fast, we had 6 dishes and wine. The tapas can be seen as you enter the bar so you can choose from their many dishes. We enjoyed the peppers stuffed with tuna, which came with a lovely sauce. Also the fried fish similar to Whitebait.
