We ate here on a Tuesday evening after reading about the restaurant on social media.
The location is lovely and the restaurant itself is charming. We sat on the terrace overlooking the beautiful courtyard.
The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable, It is worth asking about the menu as everything is listed together, starters, mains and shared items.
We shared the mixed tapas, aubergine and humus, and pork terrine - all were lovely.
Our first choice wine was out of stock, not a problem the second choice was excellent.
Well worth a visit, we will return.

We are new to area and we dined at The Farm on a Friday evening reservation after several recommendations from friends. The restaurant has good reviews on Trip Advisor and had lots of support on Facebook, but it just wasn’t for us. We were actually a little disappointed because I expected an amazing meal with a broad menu and it was really quite average. The menu is not expansive and of all the meals and appetizers we tried, we only really liked the Cochinita Pebil.
One offputting thing was as the waiter was doing a good job, a man came out from kitchen who I believe was the owner or manager and really dressed him down and bullied him for unknown reason. This guy was out of line and unprofessional and the waiter had tears in his eyes. Frankly, if anybody spoke to me like that, they would remember it forever, and they would’ve been waiting those tables themselves that night, and beyond. The waiter kept his cool, but was visibly shaken, and kept working hard.
Maybe it’s the best restaurant in town and we just had a bad experience but I doubt we will give it a second try as there’s too many options in Marbella and Malaga.

We had dinner at The Farm. The atmosphere was great, we were out on the covered "patio" type area. Lots of plants and very pleasing. However, people could also smoke out there, so that was a disappointment. We started with guacamole and chips which were good. My brother and his family had carpaccio which they said was good. I ordered the grilled octopus and have to say I was disappointed. It appeared more boiled than grilled. No smokey flavor or grill marks and was just the tentacles cut into chunks. The grilled octopus that I have gotten other places was more tender filet-type pieces. This was tough and chewy. The best part of the meal was probably the cocktails. However, we had to wait at the beginning because the bartender wasn't there yet. Granted, we were there at 6:00 which I know is early by Spain time. The service started out strong, but then I think there was a shift change and it took over 40 minutes to get our main dish. I think they might have forgotten our order as other tables who had gotten there after us received their food before us.
I'd probably go back for cocktails and apps, but probablyl not for dinner.
Compared to other places we ate, I'd say it's on the expensive side for what you get. The guacamole and chips were $11 for example.

We were super excited to have found this little gem of a restaurant. The setting is beautiful and most of the staff were delightful. We went on an evening when there was a flamenco show which was great fun. The starters were delicious and all was very promising. The main meal was rather disappointing, the burgers were good, the pad Thai too but the Lomo de atun did not taste good at all and was inedible. When the bill came we noticed that they had charged for a starter which they had not delivered & they reluctantly took the bill away to change it, when the waiter returned we noticed they had also charged for three burgers and not two, therefore 6 main courses (we were only 5 & had only had 5). The waiter became very aggressive and angry, clearly annoyed that we were questioning it-he had hovered over us whilst we looked at the bill. He then slammed the bill down on the table and asked what else we did not want to pay for and yelled at us that he’d been working for ten hours. The whole experience was very unsettling and upsetting and really soured the night for us, having been keen to return previously and recommend it to friends and family despite the disappointing main courses. Such a shame.

We booked this restaurant to see the flamenco show while having dinner. We were asked when booking if we wanted to see flamenco show and we said we did.
On arrival, we were seated at a table downstairs. The restaurant was very pretty but we had no view of the flamenco dancing. This was the main reason we booked this restaurant.
Food was very mediocre. Had gyosas as a starter. They were hard and crispy, stone cold in the middle. Then burger which was tasty but lukewarm. Also tropical duck with pineapple. There was nice but no pineapple on the plate and ‘potato foam’ was non existent under the duck
Would not go back.

This was our least favorite restaurant during our trip to Marbella. We were a large group and made a reservation months in advance, but our experience was unlike any of the other marbella restaurants that we visited. The food was awful - many of us couldn’t even bring ourselves to finish it. We tried everything from the tuna steak, ceviche, to an “asian-inspired” couscous dish, and nearly all of it was disappointing. When we went to order the beef dishes, our waitress straight up told us “oh, i wouldn’t order that. It’s not good here, stick with fish dishes, a lot of people complain about our steak dish.” Even their own employees don’t think the food is good!
The customer service was seriously lacking - our waitress was rude and forgot numerous parts of our order. There was another male employee at the restaurant who someone in my group asked for another “vaso” in Spanish to pour our sangria into. He rolled his eyes and corrected her Spanish and said “copa” and then walked away. We were also the only people of color in the restaurant and I didn’t see anyone else getting treated the way we did.
Needless to say, if you’re looking for an actual amazing restaurant in Marbella with fabulous food and fabulous service, checkout Cascada Marbella. It was phenomenal and we wished we had gone back there instead of going to this disappointing spot.

Great atmosphere, staff but food sadly fell well short of expectations. All mains were lacking in flavour including the “spicy” chicken which lacked any flavour. Puddings were tasty as were starters so please work on the mains as the rest of the offering was good but clearly mains need to be as good as other courses.

really sorry to say this we found this gem on the Internet and booked it thinking that this looks a really cute restaurant which it was however we bought the flamenco table and were really disappointed the food the main course the steak was atrocious it was a terrible piece of meat really chewy and no flavour whatsoever.
As For the flamenco show It was the worst I have ever seen I have lived in Spain a long time and was looking forward to being entertained with a traditional Spanish woman singing playing the maracas and dancing in a typical Andalusian style I expected to see a guitarist or some musicians and none of it happened instead the atmosphere was dull and dead were usually you will get the crowd joining in on a proper flamenco show . This was two girls dancing with the same dance around the floor with really low music no ambience no atmosphere just dancing this was not a flamenco show as any Spanish person will tell you really disappointed by this place

The Farm isn’t a typical Old Town Marbella restaurant. It doesn’t do tapas. It doesn’t have pavement seating. It does, however, have fresh, tasty food and great drinks served in a cool courtyard often with a DJ or other music playing.
We visited one Sunday evening and booked a table for 8pm. Like most Marbella restaurants, the Farm doesn’t really get busy ‘till 9pm or later. We had a great evening watching the place fill up. Most people were dining but some were just having drinks. The music (this night) was a bit chill out Ibiza meets classic soul and funk - suited us.
As the name suggests, there’s a great emphasis on fresh vegetables but it’s not vegetarian. The hummus was terrific as was the Thai curry. But - best of all - were the mango daiquiris which we had as a dessert. Fabulous !
It’s not a cheap place , despite the laid back vibe, but it really is worth trying if you want a different evening out in the Old Town

If you walk along the city center you may discover a nice fachade and terrace called The Farm. There is a poster with ‘2 cavas and 1 tapa for 7 euros’
It sounds good.
Inside there are better atmosphere and more terrace (patio in Spanish). The food is a little of mixture of Mexican, Thai, Spanish…
Pad Thai was ok in terms of quality and quantity. It was 26€ including 2 beers.
WC small, very old and super dirty.
The offered for free kind of flamenco performance with two dancers. As Spaniard, I was not impressed but it was interesting.

We went for a flamenco night experience and were very disappointed. We had a terrible view in the courtyard concealed by bushes. We were forced to stick to a set menu, and the food was stodgy and chewy. We complained, we saw a la carte dishes going out of the kitchen , but as nice as some of the staff are, this is generally a shambolic restaurant. One to avoid , as it slowly withers on the vine. It peaked 4 years ago.

The restaurant is cozy, however the quality/price ratio and service is terrible. We went to dinner and they gave us a reservation for 10 p.m., the waitress came half an hour later and told us that the kitchen closes at 11 p.m., the food is not of quality, we tried the hake, it seemed frozen, without flavor... Also some arepas of salmon that could be any other dish but not an arepa. They charged us for tap water and when we gave feedback to the waitress she told us that it was a place for “foreigners”

A fun, funky venue—a blast from the past for us seniors: many plants, mismatched furniture, rustic ambiance. Service is prompt and friendly. Drinks are interesting—I had a smoked Negroni, which was very well made. Serving were generous—we could not finish either our salads or main, both of which were very tasty. When we asked the manager (?) to call us a taxi, he walked us 2 blocks through old town streets to where we could get a cheaper taxi! Highly recommend The Farm!

This restaurant was recommended to us by the tourist office for its dinner with flamenco dancers.
What a disappointment!
On flamenco evenings, there is a special menu with starter, main course and dessert at €45 per person. Expensive but why not with the show.
1st disappointment the Piña colada cocktail is cut with water.
2nd disappointment the starter arrives too quickly not even time to drink the cocktail...
3rd disappointment, I stand on my chair and I feel that it is breaking, we report it to the waitress who tells us to change it with the next table.
And the final disappointment the dancers danced on the balcony, we didn't see anything because we had a shrub right in front of us! We ask 3 waiters if the dancers are going to change places, they tell us yes they will come right next to us. They came next door but for 1 dance and 1 other on Gispsy King with a future bride who would begin her life as a young girl... We really remained on our end and hungry and we paid for a very average meal at 110 € for 2! It is unacceptable!

Stumbled upon this gorgeous hidden gem (which is obviously well known despite its quiet location as it was fully booked from 9pm onwards) and had a couple of drinks. Loved the decor, ambience, music and service. My piña colada was lovely. Thought about eating there and would have liked to but there was not much for vegans. However this seems to be commonplace in most costal Spanish resorts (I’ve had a vegan burger and chips elsewhere three nights running!), however the dishes on the menu sounded really unusual and interesting - think Heston! I’d love to go back to watch the Flamenco show before I leave.
