We sat out side for our evening meal and were warmly greeted in Spanish by our waiter. Few International visitiors but many Spanish people, which, to us, meant that we had found a good spot. The recommended white wine went down very well with our...More

Went here for lunch on a Sunday. Friendly staff and reasonable prices (for Marbella). Free tapas with our drinks and the plates were nicely put together. I would definetely recommend this restaurant.

Been to this place every time we've been to Marbella and it never disappoints. Just good old traditional Spanish Tapas to a high standard.

We were mislead by the exterior and thought that this place will be a good place to have dinner. This had turned out to be a very bad decision. Although the place is relatively cheap, the service and the food quality was worse than the...More

Not to be confused with the other La Venecia restaurants ( 2 of them near the port) this is my favourite. It is very slightly off the beaten track ( actually no its not! ) but you wouldn't normally just happen across this place. Eat...More

We visited this restaurant as it was just round the corner from our hotel. The old gentleman waiter immediately recommended the fish and meat dishes and showed us a massive raw steak and suggested we had that. I did go for the steak and it...More

Description
"The Venencia" is a restaurant rooted in the purest style of the old Jerez wineries, located in lovely and beautiful enclave of the most prestigious city in the Costa del Sol, Marbella. A place to enjoy the most special climate in Europe and the most funny and friendly people.

The initiation of this business began in 1985 in a small winery in San Pedro de Alcantara. It was a small winery style of Jerez, where many wines, good ham and all kinds of Iberian products were being sold. Throughout the years, the owners opened more premises in Marbella, being this one, the best located in the center of our beautiful coastal city.

"The Venencia" is not just a place to have tapas with the best market products and take the best wine or fresh beer, but we are also specialists in meat, fish and homemade desserts. All this with a genuine Mediterranean cuisine ... We are frying, BBQ, cooker, and of course, an Spanish & Andalusian restaurant. Come and enjoy the best seafood, grilled fish or fried fish freshly brought from the market, with the best atmosphere and companionship of Marbella's people.
