I was really looking forward to a bustling tapa market like in Madrid or Barcelona. But when I arrived at 10:00pm on a Friday night it was empty, already closed. Seems odd that for a country that thrives on eating late and every tapa around...More

It is nothing glamour but it is full of life, and flavors, and love, and happiness. I love the markets in Malaga.

We stopped in the Mercado for a snack while visiting Malaga. It was the perfect place to have some croquettes and a beer and have a seat while people watching. Very cute market!

Found this wonderful place one night by accident after an evening of fantastic flamenco at the nearby Pena Juan Breva Museo. What is, during the day, a market selling all kinds of fabulous food, at night becomes a place where you can sit amongst the...More

Went tonight and found this place closed. Shame, as we'd been to the sister place in Madrid and loved it.
