The restaurant is not on the seafront but that should not stop you going for very reasonably priced fresh seafood and very friendly service. You can eat outside.

We came here hoping this quiet restaurant would live put to it's tripadvisor ratings . It didn't , the starter ( salad ) was poor, the monkfish was terrible . Alone in the restaurant we ate to the tune of bottles crashing around as the staff thought it was a good idea to make as much noise as possible .

You will not be disappointed by this place if you like seafood. You kinda have to specifically go there since it's not exactly in the center which is a big bonus to me since it's mainly visited by locals. However, its proximity to the beach makes it a great lunch spot which can be combined with a walk on the... More

We went to this restaurant on the basis of TA comments and it proved to be an excellent choice. It is much smarter than most restaurants and a little more formal but also very friendly service. The waiters spoke excellent English and the food was exceptional. I would go again on my next visit to the area.

We recently visited this wonderful restaurant on our first trip to Malaga. As lovers of seafood we were not disappointed. In fact, so good was our meal that we returned two days later. Mussels, Prawns and Langostines were all fantastic and of course cooked in a way that allows the flavour of fresh shellfish to come to the fore, that... More

My husband and I visited Marisqueria el Kaoba in April 2014 and had the most amazing experience. Our flat was located near the Catedral, so we opted to take a taxi to the restaurant because we were not sure how long the walk would take us. Fortunately, it wasn't terribly far, so the taxi didn't cost very much; I believe... More

When we looked at this restaurant from outside, we didn´t know what was waiting for us inside. It looked very "local", between bar and restaurant. But when we received our first plate with a very good albariño........... followed by a huge plate of all kind of seafood. We were from France, Canada and Finland, but we all had the same... More

Nice little restaurant with a friendly athmosphere and honest plain food. Definately not a tourist trap. You get value for money, but standards are not luxurious.

Since I reviewed this restaurant last year, it seems to have slipped down the Tripadvisor Malaga ratings, and so we looked forward to visiting again on our latest trip to the city to see why. In fact we went twice and the food and service were just as good as previously. Excellent seafood and the house speciality spinach fritters are... More
