Friday evening visit. Attentive but not overbearing service, very Spanish, good choice of meat and fish. Starters were enormous. Malaga salad a must! Lovely coffee. Good wine list.

We drank there most evenings but had dinner once. I had roasted turbot, expertly de-boned for me at the table (thanks Andy) and my wife had pieces of cod loin in light, crispy batter ! A couple of bottles of chilled Verdejo....excellent dinner !

They visited the city in May. The staff were very welcoming, the restaurant was already full and they made space for them in a private room. The food was delicious and there was a lot of variety. Thanks again Andy and the boss too !

I took white beans soup with chorizo and braised rabo de toro - both weren't bad, just they lacked something to make them interesting. Nothing stood out - no strong spices, no exceptional ingredients. I ate similar dishes at home, without travelling to Spain. The most interesting thing in my dishes was rice with strong garlic aroma - I expected... More

After 7 days of good experience with restaurants in Andalusia, we did hit this all week low. We did order the Dorade in salt but that was not available but we did not get recommendation for an alternative. So I did choose the Bacalao with green sause and the shells. It was tasteless not green, only 4 shells and the... More

Went there yesterday with a friend and absolutely fell in love with this restaurant! The atmosphere was very authentic, service very attentive and friendly and the food to die for. I would especially recommend their fillet steak, it was one of the best meats I have ever had and can highly recommend that to everyone.

We stopped in for dinner. Like a lot of Spanish food the style is very simple and to be expected. I chose Red Mullets which were very tasty. We also got a nice bottle of rioja. I finished with a lovely carahillo. The waiter was great and showed me the fish before they went to the kitchen. It's a little... More

We just spent a thoroughly lovely Sunday evening here, eating an excellent paella mista, drinking a superb Verdejo wine called Bitacora, and chatting with the extremely professional, warm host, Pedro. It was a pleasure to spend time in a place where service and attention to detail are high on the list of priorities. The food is delicious but of course,... More

The waiter gave us a menu in English which didn't please my husband who wanted to try out his Spanish. Not a good start but after getting a Spanish menu too, everything went well. The food was delicious, especially the vegetables which are hard to find when eating out in Spain! After our meal our waiter gave us a bottle... More
