started with cocktails. tapas for every taste. I loved the combinations of texture and flavour. wondered what the next dish would bring. overall really enjoyable experience. staff helpful. busy all the time (always a good sign) and yet we didn't feel under any pressure to vacate table.

The food is great - the staff very friendly and helpful - it helps to take their advice unless you know about tapas - this was my first experience so some dishes I liked more than others obviously.

We realy enjoyed all dishes we ordered. And had a very good bottle of wine with the meal. Not so expensive.

Should have been here the previous night but messed up the booking. Came on a Thursday night after rebooking on the Wednesday. Smaller than Vineria but the food quality was just as good. I think that the people trying to walk in and choosing to wait is testament. The staff are so busy but friendly and helpful. I think the... More

We were recommended this place and it didn't disappoint. Very friendly and helpful waiter who found us a spot even though the place was practically full. It's a really cosy place with a lovely atmosphere, and the food is fantastic, with lots of local specials - not just the usual tapas favourites. They were also knowledgable on wine and served... Dont miss it. Tapas of a martian world. When writing this I am still in another world. With best friends from youth and we have experienced a lot. The service, the food and the wines are second to none. We choose 8 medium dishes: tuna, shrimps, salmon, duck, meatballs, chicken kebab, quesos cheese. The timanisu and the pan cakes you... More

I visited Tapeo de Cervantes on the last night of my trip to Malaga. I'd also visited their two sister restaurants. The food here is excellent. Id recommend the prawns and the tuna washed down with a lovely Cava which is a very reasonable 2.70 EURO per glass . Book in advance though trip advisor/fork to beat queues of people... More

A really fabulous tapas restaurant, very popular so book in advance. The treacle prawns and the tuna with cauliflower puree a must. We were in Malaga for 3 nights, and ate in this one and its two sister restaurants on the other nights. Whilst they were all fantastic, Tapeo de Cervantes the best for an authentic tapas experience and Alvaro... More

What a fantastic little place. The owner was very friendly and informative (which was nice due to our embarrassing lack of Spanish). Don't miss out on this place if you're put off by the walk from the centre of Malaga. ..it's well worth the visit. The food was amazing - one of the best meals we had. Thank you and... More

Visited this restaurant for the third time with my husband. Food was very good, the anchovies from from the specials board were excellent as was the grilled tuna (from the menu). The ham and cheese rolls were also very tasty and the Argentinian beef from the menu was lovely. We finished off with the tiramisu, which was melt in the... More
