We had a lovely meal here with a surprisingly large food bill! We were shocked and would not here again even though the food was amazing!

While in Malaga we decided to have Moroccan for dinner one night and really loved the Restaurante Al-Yamal. The host was gracious and helpful and there was wine available with dinner (we had a delicious Lebanese red from the Bekka Valley, Lebanon . . . Chateau Margaux.) Dinner for the four of us included: pita bread and hummus; Keftas Al-Yamal... More

We walked and walked -- around in circles -- looking for this restaurant! No maps, no Spanish, just an address and a rather slow responding GPS! Well, we did find it eventually, unfortunately with just enough time to enjoy the main course! Have to go back there! Excellent dinner though a tiny bit pricey. We were a bit pressed for... More

We really enjoyed dinner here tonight. The chicken couscous was truly wonderful. Just the right amount of Middle Eastern spices. So yummy! At the end of your meal, be sure to order the mint tea and pastries, which is served in a traditional manner with silver teapot, lotus flower water, Arab tea glass, fresh mint --- once again, wonderful flavors.... If you want a break from tapas (and fried food) and want some non-Spanish cuisine, you should try this place. You need to reserve a table since this place is tiny - 6 tables - and was run by a husband and wife team (who were pretty darn efficient). We eat a lot of hummus and this was probably one... More

All the staff were Spanish, not Moroccan, and the decor was a bit over the top, but the food was great, which is all you can ask. We had the lamb couscous and the chicken tagine, which were good and aromatic. Nice friendly service. Not a big place, so grab a table if you can.

We went there based on the reviews in Tripadvisor. The decor on the inside was fine. We were greeted and seated by the owner. The restaurant claims to be Arab and offer genuine Arab food. We are Arabs and the owner / waiter neither speaks Arabic nor English. Anyway we were given a single menu for the whole family. Then... More

We had a lovely dinner here. We took hummus and pita bread, lamb pinchitos (with awesome sauce) and vegetarian couscous and they were wonderful. For dessert we had mint tea with some Moroccan pastries, which where very tasty. The waiter was friendly and everything went just perfect for us.
