I am not over excited when coming across bad food and bad service. Even though there was basically no one else in the restaurant it took a long time before the food came. Soft and soggy chips with over boiled green beans and a sorry looking pice of meat. Would rather have spend my money in a fast food joint... More

I should have looked at the last 3/4 recent reviews, I should have known better, Arrived at 845pm on a Saturday night with my partner to an empty restaurant, The menu outside looked encouraging, However inside the old rather lethargic man, (I guess the owner or head waiter ) Took an eternity to sit us at a table, Even though... For our last lunch in heavenly Malaga, we said we'd treat ourselves, our group of 7. So we got there for 2.30 pm that Sunday , it seemed like we were not expected even though we booked ahead. Took an absolute age to get some wine. Then starters came at differing times...the wheels were coming off on this one... we... More

Went here on the basis that it was of bib gourmand standard...I'm afraid it's not...maybe the chef has left? Tried the set lunch and to say it was poor is an understatement....a potato salad with lumps of lettuce not cut properly, lamb which looked like off cuts with little meat on them....no I'm sorry if they want to keep in... Clearly something has happened between July and September. Has ownership changed? Should Cafe de Paris still be claiming a Michelin rating? We booked for 8pm and arrived at 7.45. The doors were locked. We returned at 8.15 and had to hammer on the door to be admitted. We shouldn't have bothered. Service was poor and the food can be summed... More

We were so looking forward to dining here as having heard allot about this restaurant we were very disappointed. We arrived at 8.30 and were the only guests here until we left at 10.00. The food was very mediocre and the service. We had Iberico ham which was excellent,Monkfish soup was excellent but these were the highlights of the meal. Both main... More

We were 6 people for dining to say bye bye to Malaga! Our decision to visit Cafe de Paris was on the spot! There is a small tip to learn a little bit of Spanish as stuff is not so stong in that! But otherwise! 3 starters/ 3 mains was sharing and the experience was incredible! Seafood starters, some ham... More

my husband and I visited and had the chataubriand which was cooked at our table for us. It was melt in the mouth steak and so tasty. Also our desserts were flambied at our table for us and were excellent. Bit more expensive than other restaurants but worth every penny and nice to treat ourselves to fantastic food. Would visit... The 16 euro set lunch is a bargain. Local ingredients with an interesting twist. The a la carte is very good and reasonable with superb tastes. Great wine list. It is a 10/15 minutes walk from the centre/ Cruise ships. Well worth a visit. We have dined here quite a few times in the past couple of years and have... More

The restaurant is more like a living room than a cafe. It gives you a great feeling of warmth and comfort. We had a great dinner at new years eve! The food had high quality and was delicious. The wine menu was great as well. The service was the best I had in Malaga on this trip, and then add... More
