There are many bars and restaurants in Calle Plocia. Eat outside if you can and enjoy the atmosphere. The are a good selection of restaurant dishes as well as a great choice of tapas. We ate a selection of 'half portions' which were generous and delicious with the exception of the Albondigas (meat balls) which were disappointing bland. The staff... More

Everything was so tasty and fresh and the deserts... yummy yummy too. Can't wait to go back. Todo lo que pedimos estaba buenísimo y para terminar nos recomendaron unos postres expectaculares.

This wonderful restaurant is, in my opinion, one of the best in all Cádiz. Each dish is perfectly prepared, the fish plates--in particular--are spectacular, and the unique "mixed vegetable cube" is out-of-this-world. The desserts are amazing and the wine list is exceptional. On top of everything else, the service couldn't be better. Pepa, Juanjo, Alicia, and Sebastian do everything possible... More

As with other establishments this bar/restaurant serves exceptionally good food. Although we only had some late evening tapas, the quality was obvious...Staff very friendly as well

This Basque restaurant, not far away from the railway station, offers delicious food and good service. You will find mostly Spanish guests and a pulsating atmosphere. I prefer this restaurant for lunch.

Atxuri is known in Cadiz for being a very good restaurant. We ate outside (it was a balmy night, perfect for eating al fresco) and we each shared fish dishes, starting with an appetizer of shrimp sauteed in garlic and olive oil - YUM! We didn't care for the chiparones which had too much squid blood for our taste, but... More

Excellent shrimp in garlic, along with anything with their Salsa Verde. Pleasant staff, nice atmosphere...especially if outside and you can watch the world go by as you eat. Near the City Hall.

Atxuri says it serves Basque/Andalucian food. We found the food to be very good but not very Basque and/or Andalucian. The squid in its ink (chipirones en su tinto) and other dishes are very tasty and well presented. Especially during lunch time they are usually understaffed so don't go there if you're in a hurry.
