Went for dinner, shared a good selection of tapas to start followed by lamb tangine main course and finished with a cheese plate, a recommended local red complimented the meal perfectly. Beautifully cooked meal served with a smile in a nice atmosphere.

On a blistering hot Sunday evening whilst searching for a cool spot for an early dinner, my wife and I came across Las Piconeras, in the shadow of La Mesquita. The bar/restaurant was lovely and cool, and we were welcomed in by a friendly waiter who also helped us decide our choice of Tapas. We had about four dishes each... More

Visited this restaurant with my wife and 2 friends on the 9th June - after our trip around the Cathedral and Generalife. We decided to pop in here for late lunch and were very pleasantly surprised - the ambience and friendliness of the staff matched the superb quality of the meals that we experienced !! Some nice variations to the... More

Waiter was really nice and friendly. We had chicken and lamb tagines with couscous, which were really good, could have done with some vegetables. Desserts were not very exciting.

Small place next to the Mezquita. Usually at a turistic spot you get expensive and low Quality, but not here. Food is tasty and very reasonable priced. Service is friendly and speaks good English. He even told us he thought we ordered too much. The beef in tomatosauce is a must have. Also try the fried zucchini with honey

We came here on a wet night in April 2016 as it was very close to where we were staying. Drinks nice but we ordered a selection of tapas which was microwaved. Only average I have to say. Wanted a dessert but from 11 or so on the menu they only had 3 available. It was okay but I probably... More

This restaurant is across from the La Mesquita mosque. We ate a good vegetable paella (paella de verduras) and a lentil soup (sopa de harira). We paid 30 Euros, which we thought was a bit high.

The chicken tagine and the assorted skewered meat were delicious. Very flavorful and tender juicy marinated meat on skewers cooked on charcoal. Couldn't get better. Very friendly staff. Good people.
