Both the guide book and someone we had been in contact with recommended us to go to bar santos, in particular for the tortilla. I was disappointed. The tortilla looks amazing it is shaped like a large Dutch cheese. I would even have preferred it if it had tasted like a Dutch cheese however. It was bland and on the... More

The Taberna Santos is a very popular bar facing the Mezquita. While there is little internal seating, there is none outside, other than the Mezquita step, facing. This, however, does not deter the predominantly younger clientele!

Excellent , must see and have their omelet. Very friendly making omelette for 50 years. 30 eggs, 11 los of potatoes and 30 min. Very friendly waitresses or attendance, and proud of their work

Called in after our visit to the Mesquita as we had heard about the famous tortilla pincho. Ordered a slice of tortilla and a beer and on the wall outside eating it in the sun - stress free, tasty and very cheap

The bar area is very central, and a proper bar. The tortillas look like something out of the film "Good Burger", but they actually tasted pretty good. A nice handy place for a short break.

Overhyped place, just ordinary snacks.. Crowded spot though. I wouldn't recommend it as a must-go place.

The place is an icon, over 50 years. Nice delicious and fresh tortilla slice where a the end of the day the food that doesn't sell is donated to the monks and the next day you can count on fresh tortilla. Remember this is not a place with chairs, just a standing bar to have a beer a slice of... More

A must when you visit Córdoba. Ice cold beer and their famous tortilla sitting outside right by the mezquita. Great quick service and lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Followed recommendations on guidebook and trip advisor reviews but it was quite disappointing. Small place but filled with uncleared plates, glasses and used tissues on the floor. Opens at 11:30am rather than 10am. Tortilla was €2 for quite a large slice with two pieces of 'bread crackers'. Good value but not quite 'the best in Spain', go only if you'll... More

Stopped in for a drink. Wanted a snack, so asked for a slice of tortilla. Their tortillas are very tall, and one slice was a good snack for two. Best tortilla I've had so far in Spain. Other tapas looked good, but we weren't there for a meal. Two drinks and the tortilla were 6€
