Came here with my 30-year-old son last week at lunchtime. We managed to get ourselves seated in one of a few tiny rooms not much larger than a confession box - very cosy. To save time, we both ordered Schnitzel, which was very good. The fried potatoes were excellent and these could be ordered as often as we wanted, the... More

A very typical and traditional restaurant for Germany. Service was a bit slow but the Wiener Schnitzel was good. Very tender and tasty. Good German 'soul food'. €14 for the schnitzel and drinks were modestly priced.

We tried this restaurant after trying to find a good place for lunch, we should have continued our search. Food was expensive and just OK.

The restaurant is under the Ratshaus. It has 'regular' German food and good beer. Not great, but perfectly adequate. The service was very slow.

Situated in the cellars under the town hall, next to the market square. Plain but original, rather than faked up renovated kitsch. Good portions of traditional German fare. We had one of the nice wooden booths. Perhaps a little expensive but worth it for the atmosphere.

We sat outside on a sunny day but you should also go inside to explore the old cellars. This is a historic part of the town hall. The food was fine and drinks good. Due to the venue the price is a little higher than some but the views of the square are worth a little extra.

We just had some beers here. But they were fine. This place is next the market place, markt, and there you can have char coal grilled sausaces. Take on or two of those before the beers here.....

I have friends who live in Lubeck and have visited this restaurant many times. However, I went last weekend and have to report that it has definitely gone off a bit. Although it wasn't very busy, the service was slow. We had to keep asking for simple things, like a straw for my nephew. We felt fairly ignored. As others... More

We enjoyed our Food here, the building is lovely, and there are a warren of rooms. You can also get a carriage type table which can be completley closed in, however These Need to be booked in advance. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Thank 5lfc
