We just had some beers here. But they were fine. This place is next the market place, markt, and there you can have char coal grilled sausaces. Take on or two of those before the beers here.....

I have friends who live in Lubeck and have visited this restaurant many times. However, I went last weekend and have to report that it has definitely gone off a bit. Although it wasn't very busy, the service was slow. We had to keep asking for simple things, like a straw for my nephew. We felt fairly ignored. As others... More

We enjoyed our Food here, the building is lovely, and there are a warren of rooms. You can also get a carriage type table which can be completley closed in, however These Need to be booked in advance. Staff were friendly and efficient.

As many of the restaurants under or close to the mayors building, the food is really decent and authentic. The location is priceless and historic - I like it there.

Our waitress was nice, but she couldn't much English...she didn't drink alkohol either so the wine recomandations were poor...we ordered very nice dinner and... More

When in Lubrec we asked a local where we could eat traditional German food and she directed us to an old establishment in the square next to the Second Gate. We proceeded downstairs to be delighted by what we saw, wooden panelled individual booths, each dedicated to a famous countryman. Very German! We sat in the Thomas Mills booth and,... More
