The restaurant is small and easiliy overlooked. We found it on a town map, on which it had a small ad, while we were looking for a place that was open on Monday evening. The check on Tripadvisor yielded the extraordinary result of eigth out...of eight with a final judgment of "excellent".
The restauant offers pizzas and one or two pasta dishes. However, the pizzas here are not based on the usual circular flat piece of dough. Yeast has obviously been allowed to do its beneficial work on the dough for a considerable time. Hence probably the restaurant's name. Our pizza (named Martha) was served in four square parts, which had a nice lush bottom. They were delicious. The list of pizzas in the menu contains no more than about ten items, which is inevitable for a small place if one wishes to emphasize on fresh ingredients.
The restaurant has a limited choice of wines, which go by the glass and by the bottle. Ours was very nice. The choice of desserts is very limited. However, we had a refined combination of strawberry, pistache and cream.
Service is accurate and informal in a pleasant way. Prices are quite reasonable. All in all: great valueMore
