We made the City hop on hop off tour and halted at the Pfunds Mölckerei, a historical Dresden dairy and milk merchandiser's spot that survived the WW2 bombing in the Bautzner Strasse. After visiting we had a quick snack in the cafe restaurant on the top floor. A busy place, professional and friendly staff, serving basic food quality dishes. Not... More

They advertise as the most beautiful dairy in the world. When you walk in, you'll walk in to the dairy/shop area and smell the cheeses. You can't miss the stunning design. You can continue on the first floor in the shop or head upstairs to the cafe/restaurant. We just stopped for an afternoon break. Our waitress was very helpful. We... More

First look, the interior is smaller than I expected. But still, it's beautiful decoration. The whole wall are covered with ceramics art. The shop sells many kind of chocolate, soaps and other unique things. Upper level is a classic old dairy theme restaurant. The ice cream was delicious, not too sweet but rich of flavor. If you are a fan... More

The decor of the shop is amazing. I had a German Cheese Tasting Platter & Wine, which were good. I wanted to stick to German Cheeses. The selection on my plate was very "safe" & appealing to the general taste. The blue Cheese had a very interesting & new taste to me. I would have loved to try more "acquired... More

We took the city bus tour, and hopped off to see this historic place. You almost can't believe your eyes when you walk in the shop. This place is completely redone to look like the original. Plenty to buy. We especially enjoyed the soft and hard cheese plates at the up stairs restaurant. Worth a visit!

Interesting restaurant with vintage feel. Quite cozy and enjoyable. We only paid attention to the dessert menu, so I cannot comment on other dishes. This restaurant is above the famous Pfunds Molkerei used in the movie "Grand Budapest Hotel". The cakes were ok, and I had a unique (for me) Ronnefeldt winter harmony tea, which was quite enjoyable on a... More

No doubt about it, the decor in the dairy is stunning. Very attractive to see and we felt worth the short walk out of the city centre to see. The profusion of colour and opulence downstairs makes the cafe decor in contrast seem rather dull, but it is pleasant enough to sit in and have a coffee and cake. Very... More

Visited the picturesque dairy and decided to have a drink in the cafe. It turned out to be the poorest value in the three weeks of what a friend called our 'coffee and cake' tour of Germany.

Milk factory is beautiful but really small. It's just shop. We stopped for lunch in their restaurant, but it was big disappointment! Had cheese plater- interesting and great, but doesn't include bread- u have to pay extra! Potato and oxtail soup- horrible! Pasta and sweet dish ok, but not for that money. Poor servise! When we walked in nobody welcomed... More

Pfund's is a stop on the Stadtrundfahrt and a great place to refresh. The tile decor is overwhemling. The buttermilk is unique. The staff are a little paranoid about photo-taking, but other than that a nice visit.
