We had a great dinner and wine in this place. Location is perfect, right in the center and good very good atmosphere. Good selection of German dishes and wines. I had the duck which was really delicious. Also the wine was very good. Also important the prices were fair. Totally recommended.

This restaurant is located in the old town, easily accessible during the tour trough Dresden. The service is friendly and as most of the German restaurants they give you the option to seat outside in summer days. I recommend the Kutschermaus, a dish prepared with pork meat and sausages.

I visited for a dinner on Sunday night. This restaurant is located close to Hilton hotel. Erdinger Hefeweizen was a little smokey flavour wheat beer. "Schaschlik vom Grill" is skewed and grilled pork with vegetables served with rice, red cabbage, etc. I think it was not a typical German dish, but it was healthy and tasty dish.

Went to this place on a monday evening. Got an indoor table for 8 people. Would have liked to sit outdoors; but is was raining. Got the beers and gave an ordered Kutscherschmaus / mixed grill for all. Authentic saxonian food (I presume). Very tastefull.

Pleasant veranda dining on a summer eve, cold pils, hearty fare, what more could you want? I was determined to have the roasted pig knuckle which was superb. ( I opted for the half portion & was right to do so). I also wanted to try the duck so our first experience was so good, we went back the next... More

By far the best meal that I had in my brief trip to Germany ... I don't think there needs to be any recommendation / review beyond that for this wonderful restaurant right in the heart of Dresden.

We called in initially for a beer and read the menu. Made a point of going back to eat. I had the special and my wife wished she had ordered the same. Sausage pork bacon and steak. All was delicious. Lovely surroundings and very popular place.

On a cold winter afternoon, what warms you up is coffee and alcohol, preferably taken alternatively or even together. In the Kutscherschanke bar I got some local schnapps and a large black coffee along with a warm welcome, good service and a seat away from the chilly wind. This is a bar, café and restaurant, and the last of the... More

I went to this restaurant on my first night in Dresden. I was looking for an authentic German dinner and I found it. Try their house specialty for a bit of everything. Beer selection and quality was also good. Good first night stop to get an authentic feel of German food.

My wife and I had arrived in Dresden after a set of long train rides from the Bavarian Alps. Kutscherschaenke was near our hotel, and the menu had a number of intriguing options, so we stopped in. The place was absolutely packed at close to 8 PM on a Saturday. Although it was quite chilly, the outside tables were all... More
