I had the worst Snitzchel ever. The meat was totally untasty and overpriced. In addition the service was totally unfriendly. I would suggest to avoid this place as there are many other good opportunities in the surroundings.

Poor evening service. Long time for ask drinks, longer for bill. Nice tourist position in the city, good atmosphere.

Dresden at the beginning of the last century was quite an interesting place based on the photos, memorabilia and films in Dresden 1900. I was there as part of a group with a fixed meal, so a good evaluation of the menu is difficult. It did, however appear varied and interesting. Service was very good and our food good by... More

We had dinner. Located in front of the renovated cathedral at the new market square. Fantastic location. Very romantic (!) The food is typical German food served nicely. They have also some vegan options as well. Prompt service, good atmosphere. Recommend (!)

The restaurant serves old and new german cuisines. Menu card has several language versions so you need not worry especially if you're a tourist like me. Awesome staff.

We stopped for a beer or two, sitting under the umbrellas on the square. It wasn't too crowded or busy while we were there but it still took a while to be waited on. We enjoyed sitting outside, looking at the beautiful buildings surrounding the square. Since we didn't eat, I can't comment on the food but I did see... More

Quirky place on the Old Square which is a great stop to have a quick lunch and a beer and watch the world go by. Food is ok and staff in conductors hats etc are a bit of fun. Barman inside the door is a character and we had a beer late one evening listening to him joke and kid... More

We sat outside had a coffee and marvelled at the view of the Cathedral and square. Did not eat here but glad I went inside to find toilets since it is charming to wander around the transport collection. The old photos on the gents toilet wall were interesting too for different reasons. Querky and odd but worth a look. The... More

Yes you can sit in a caboose if you want to and the waiters wear conductor hats but that does not make up for the quality of the food. It is okay but nothing special and still pricey.
