5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2012 via mobile

Looked online to find veg options when staying in town, this was a good option as it had some meat and veg, catering for others in the group. The restaurant is tucked down a small street that currently has roadworks so wouldnt have found it by chance! But lovely cosy interior and we sat in the small cheery vine laden... More

We are not vegetarian, but german restaurant food can be heavy so we enjoyed a chance to eat at this cozy place. Salads with fresh figs avocado lettuce and a sharp cheese garnish were excellent as were our pasta dishes. Large glasses of fresh juices (and of course beer) Service was excellent. It's a 10 minutes walk from the zwinger... More

Vegetarians visiting Germany have quite a tough time -they often get offered fish or chicken as no-one can quite believe that anyone really doesn't eat any of those things! I had dinner here with a vegetarian friend one night in November 2009. This out-of-the-way restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk from the Zwinger. Luckily my friend had eaten here before; I never would have found it on my own. The restaurant is small and dark with bare wood walls and wooden chairs and tables sans tablecloths. Nonetheless, the... More

My girlfriend and I visited BrennNessel in September 2009 and loved it. The restaurant is situated about 5 minutes walk from Zwinger in a quiet street and has indoor and outdoor seating areas. The indoor area is very cosy and makes the whole place feel very friendly and relaxed which makes it perfect for a meal with friends or a... More
