Seriously, we had the coconut curry soup and it was absolutely amazing. It's homey and the portions are huge. I couldn't get enough of this place! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a healthy meal.

The noodle soups were excellent and one of their kinds. A cool concept of combining different flavours into a small bowl! The quantity is huge and filling. The staff was very friendly.

Since I first ate their Vietnamese soup, I keep coming back every week, I simply don't want to miss anything. I totally recommend their weekly soups, all of them are awesome. And in our neighbourhood (Trier-Luxembourg) this is the only place where you can get such a soup. I still keep comparing all the other Asian soups to the ones... More

Colorful ambiance with good music from the stereo and a design gallery and shop inside. I tried the first soup on the menu, it tasted great just what I needed on that rainy and cold day. Maybe I could have support a bit more meat inside. Next was the Vietnamese spring roll. It was soo fresh and crunchy, the sweet... More

I used to be a relatively regular customer at the Yong bistro since it opened until I visited it recently and found out that the prices have increased by about 25 % (drinks included), while the amount of food got smaller (even the ginger tea is now served in smaller cups than before). Considering the current prices the food and... More

Description
Asia meets wine & design Our food follows traditional recipies of Yongs mother. Everything we serve is made of fresh ingredients, the taste is improved with aromatic vietnamese herbs. Meanwhile our coconut curry soup became legendary to our customers, we offer a weekly changing soup, which is choosen from a variety of other traditional vietnamese noodle soups. We can also advise you to try our exotic salads and richly stuffed baguettes. I addition to our standart menue we offer special plates in smaller and larger sizes from wednesday to friday after 6 pm. This is Culinasia - MAMA YONG YONG porkbelly in coconutwater - stewed beef in coconutwater - fried shrimp in garlic sauce - MAMA YONG YONG tortilla with glass noodles, vegetables and tofu - MAMA YONG YONG sitting duck - fried octopus in ginger dressing - fried beef in wasabi dessing - buddhas delight - ... Selected wine of our Mosel region builds harmony with our Asian food. We can advise you to try another delicacy. For example the vietnamese coffee (ca phe), a strong filtercoffee with a slightly chocolate taste. You can order it whether black or white ( with sweetend condensed milk at the bottom). This type of coffee matches perfectly with our hommemade asian cakes, cookies or puddings. If you would like to enjoy our coffee at home, just ask our staff to sell you the filter and the coffeepowder. Out of love to vietnamese soups we opened YONG Indochina Suppenbar in 2007. After six years we extended our restaurant area and became YONG YONG concept store. We took an opportunity to follow our passion and delight for designing and design classics, to combine it with our daily work. Since our studies we were interested in design classics. For 20 years now we are collecting furniture and lamps from the 20th century. As you see, they are building this unique atmosphere in the newer part of the restaurant. YONG YONG is official retailer of: artek, vitra accessoires and Edition Serge Mouille Also in our stuck: DCW lamps gras, JIA, tale, Carsten Haase, Wingenbach, pour moi ...
