I spent an evening with friends and was delighted by the lovely atmosphere and staff professionalism. Food is very well prepared and contains traditional German dishes together with refined choices. The restaurant is located two minutes walking distance from Trier main square and has an outdoor terrace

I had a great time there, having a pre-organised dinner with a tourist group. Great food and wines, professional and polite staff, good atmosphere.

Beautiful restaurant, probably the best in Trier, not very expensive, outside terrace. Delicious food and wines.

Food took forever to arrive (entrees served over 1 1/2 hours after we ordered). Waitress was very apologetic and kept going back to the kitchen to ask. When my wifvwent inside to cmplain, she was rudely told that we had ordered an appetizer for my son (true, but so what?) and they had a full house (not as true, it... More

Just had a dinner here with friends; we arrived at 9 pm and it was almost empty. But we wait 30 minutes for the drinks. After 10 minutes came the main course and nothing special but pricey. At 10 pm we ask for desserts but the kitchen already closed, on August 15th !! So take your euro elsewhere.....

This place was mentioned in my tourist guide, so we wanted to give it a try. When we arrived, the waiters were very busy. We went inside and tried to speak to a male staff member there. What a mistake! The staff member reacted very rude. He laughed at us because we didn't speak German. He was arrogant and made... More

We were very surprised by the quality and atmosphere of this restaurant. The staff were stretched with the clientele but that is a good thing. The courses were nice and the wines are various and intriguing. The price/quality ratio is a pleasant surprise.

The majority of the places I saw in Trier will offer good food but in a rustic style (big portions, lots of potatoes etc - not a bad thing, by the way). Brasserie Trier offered a three course option. I ate the prawn cocktail, mixed pork (sausage, crop and offel) and a cherry and chocolate dessert. The starter was nice... More

In mid June we came across the Brasserie after a full day of sightseeing. Neither myself or my husband wanted a huge meal, but decided there weren't that many options for sandwiches in the evening. We were seated inside by choice and loved it from the start! Beautiful yet not fancy, the atmosphere was relaxed and yet sophisticated. We were... More
