Very pleased to have chosen this hotel. A charming location on a square in the old town. A practical base for shopping, a good selection of restaurants nearby and a short walk to the cable car. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Spacious bathroom. Knocked off one star as there is a clock... More

Went here, starter(Carpaccio) was frozen so I informed the waitress that it was uneatable, since my girlfriend had almost finished her starter I didn't want another one and asked the waitress to bring the main dish(schnitzels) They were ok, baked in too much butter, so it gave a real buttery taste, which is not how a Wiener Schnitzel should taste... This restaurant is announced in all kind of guides as a must. We had dinner inside and we agree: nice place, good food, very good wines, very friendly personnel. We spent a long night in Alt Coblenz

This is a very traditional German restaurant. It has dishes that go beyond the usual tourist fare. We were ther in high summer and the out door eating was the way to go.

...a well preserved old part of an ancient town to stroll in. It does not take long to walk it but do lift your heads and have a look at the details around you.

It's a fancy restaurant that has also a terrace. The food is okay, I didn't feel anything special about it. I went like 3 or four times, all the time was the same, so... But its in the center, no parking clouds

We very much enjoyed the food and the service. We wanted to try local food and wine. The menu includes both German and Italian food. The food was prepared exactly as we requested thanks to our excellent servers and the chef.

Authentic and tasty German cuisines. It was a wonderful dining experience in a very rustic and traditional atmosphere. The decor in the restaurant was also an eye-opener.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch while waiting to join a cruise on the Mosel. The restaurant features a rustic decor and an extensive menu of local and standard German fare. Service was friendly, and the food was tasty. The wine cellar, though not open during lunch, is particularly quaint and atmospheric.

We ate here twice during our stay in Koblenz. Our hotel recommended it to us for its traditional German cuisine. The portion sizes were very generous and the waiting staff were polite and friendly. I especially liked the buttery mashed potato that came with the sausage. There is a nice outside eating area in the square.
