The location in a former municipal bathing facility is breathtaking, and the gardens are delightful. After sitting at a table for nearly 20 minutes and being ignored by passing waiters, I gave up, so my only comments on the food is that other guests' portions looked generous and it smelled fantastic.

The Brauhaus is located in a former public baths. That makes this restaurant so special. The meals are good, service is good and people are nice.

This was recommended to us as well as being well sign posted from the town square. This is exactly what is says on the tin a Brauhaus and we got exactly what we expected. The beer was fantastic and a great addition to the town. The building was huge so plenty of room. Whilst sat on one of the floors... More

Set in converted galleried art-deco swimming baths, 3 beers brewed on site (Pilsner, Hels and a lovely Dunkel). Friendly welcome and service, food is even better now with a couple of vegetarian options. Be advised the Haxe is MASSIVE. And pretty cheap overall, took a group of 6 in there on a quiet Sunday evening, 3 x 1l steins apiece,... More

We came here based on that they brew their own beer. The food was good. The beer is good. I had one that I wasn't overly crazy about but the rest where good. The prices for food was slight expensive but kinda of normal for German food. The beer was cheaper.

Looks like a tourist trap. Very average food. Reasonable service. Not a very large beer selection. Place seems large, but barely anyone on a week night. Came recommended by hotel - Should have trusted yelp over hotel staff.

The only possitive was beer, the food was terrible, they served moldy olives with the cheese, pork knee and wurstsalat were also poor.

Went there as part of a large group, and we were well fed and watered, with excellent food and superb beers. The staff were attentive and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

Superb reuse of a former municipal swimming pool. Food is mainly traditional German, the Swinehexe is particularly good. Agree with other reviews that found the cloudy Pils a little odd but not a major negative. The gents toilet is a must to see the mural above the urinal!

An interesting venue, being a former swimming baths, which made for a good atmosphere on the evening we visited, a Monday evening in late January. The main house beers are unfiltered, natural, beers so they are somewhat cloudy which is how they are supposed to be. Of these I enjoyed the dunkel (dark) and my friends enjoyed the hell (light...
