We went there after seeing the reviews here. It was not bad, but neither worth the hype. The interiors were nice, food was OK (have had better). We had to wait 30 mins at the bar for a table when the people who arrived after us got tables before us.

Massive portions and delicious meat. Both kids and adults were impressed. The atmosphere was great and service very good. Just what you want from a traditional German restaurant.

Not at all surprised by the positive reviews, the place was absolutely fantastic. Was worried as a vegetarian looking at the very meat-based menu, but the celery schnitzel with salad and mashed potatoes was fantastic. Meat-eater buddies loved it too!

You will get a wonderful selection of Westphalian cuisine here in an extremely traditional setting. This restaurant is a favorite of the locals, and I have eaten there many times and never had a bad meal.

A wellknown, indigenous Münster reastuarnat place to eat, to meet and to visit. Here you see the original Muenster people to eat and the food, since decades the origin place. You have to tast really Muenster food

Typical German restaurant serving regional food of high quality . Very efficient, professional service and absolutely delicious food . The restaurant is a reminder of how service and food should be :) I highly recommend a visit ... The local food is well worth tasting .

Historic restaurant with lots of room for diners. Great pork knuckle ("Schweinshaxe") and a very thick, well-cooked salmon steak. Very friendly service: they want you to have a good dinner and a good time.

We visited this restaurant the third week of May. My daughter, who's studying in Germany, made a reservation for us. It wasn't needed on this rainy, Monday evening. The menu is in German but they can provide an English menu on request. Though the English menu doesn't seem to have as many options. I had the pork schnitzel which came... More
