Food-wise, this is one of my favourite restaurants in Dusseldorf. It is so unique, flavourful and one has a myriad of options to choose from without it being too overwhelming. The list of cocktails is also superb, I highly recommend the Classic Mai Tai where they light the sugar cube on fire. I have never seen that before and it... More

My first time trying Laos cuisine, what a pleasant surprise, everything was cooked and served with great care, all the dishes were flavoursome and delicious, lovely. The staff were charming and we enjoyed a very pleasant dinner at the Luan Prabang, thank you.

Pleasant, clean, tasteful Asian decor restaurant with tea candle lit tables. Fabulous and fresh Laotian food. Don't miss any of the dishes that have sticky rice. One amazing surprise was the bar menu. I had one of the best Mai Tai's I have ever had!

I love Laos food and miss it so much (I'm from Thailand). So, when I first moved to Düsseldorf and asked people where should I go for an asian food. Luang Prabang was probably the first name you'd hear. And I was not disappointed. I had Larb which is a Laos food with sticky rice and it was tasty and... More

Dishes served are very similar to what I enjoyed when I visited Laos. Restaurant is often full, but if you are alone you may find a seat at the bar to eat. They also serve excellent cocktails with and without alcohol. The happy hour is the right time to go. You can also have drinks even if you don't eat;... More

I frequent here and Manima quite often but this one has the better and friendlier service. I live down the street here and take all my guests to this restaurant. One needs to make a reservation but you can always order things for take away. I discovered Laotian food through this restaurant. Then I went to NYC and had Laotian... More

Read the reviews and set off to find the place. Strangely, as you pass the railway line it all seems a little as Kings Cross used to be. Then it gets better, then even better. The restaurant would win no prizes for its decor. It's a bit like a converted north London pub. But the food and service is something... More

Nice Laos style, family run restaurant with large selection of food, spacing from the typical Luang Prabang style to the more classic dishes. The owner, Laos origins but since years in Germany, is welcoming and willing to tell more about the food he is offering, which in some cases might be difficult to understand for the ones who have never... First of all: Don't prejudice the restaurant for it's furniture. It really doesn't look like a beautiful asian restaurant like so many others in Germany, but after talking to the staff you feel like you're home. They are friendly and helpfull and always smiling. The only thing better than the friendly welcome is the food. It tastes nearly perfect and... More

Great food and the flavours were amazing. The workers are very friendly, we were late to make a reservation, but they still made room for the 4 of us. Great place and I will go again.
