You can sit on the street and watch the world go by, in rain or shine. The schwein knuckles, saurkraut and mash spuds are fantastic. Dont do the french fries. Prices are insanely reasonable. Afterwards go around the corner to the Killepisch bar.

We ordered a Bratwurst mit Brotchen and a Roasted Pork Knuckle in its own juice served with frites and a green salad. The green salad came and it was pretty good. Then the bratwurst and pork knuckle arrived and the pork knuckle was more boiled than roasted. Guess that is what rotisserie does to pork knuckles. The skin was not... More

The food was good and I would have rated it excellent except that the cook manning the rottisserie was quite rude. I took a photo of the rottisserie and the cook asked (w/ a rude tone) for 1 euro for 1 photo. What?? I questioned him and he showed me a coin can where I should put in the money.... More

I rated the restaurant as 'very good' because of the value for money. The serve tipical German dishes, the most well know are of course the 'Scheinshaxe' and the 'Schweinebraten'. Do not expect haute cuisine in this restaurant, but look forward to well prepared meat for reasonable prices. Outside dining is possible as well, they have a few long tables,... More

This is a trademark food of Germany, Pork Knuckle. Size is awesome, with some mashed potatoes and some sour things that I cant determine what it is. and it is cheap also, even compared to in Indonesia. Must visit!
