Staff rather rude, menu incomprehensible, miscommunication with staff. Food, both had the ramen soups, mediocre to average quality at best. Ingredients appear to be from wholesale (preserved) instead of freshly made. Ramen had comparable texture and taste to packs of ready made noodles. Typical place for young (15-25) tourists. Everyone above should avoid. Will most likely not come back here.

This restaurant is extremely popular amongst the Japanese community and you are in for a long wait if you visit during peak lunchtime and evening hours. Try holding off until 3 or 4pm and you should be able to get a table. This place is truly excellent, offering lunch time set meals with Ramen in varying broths served with rice... More

We wanted to go to this restaurant since last year, but it was always super crowded. This time, we decided to go few minutes before they opened and they had only one table available! That could be a little turn off for people who doesn't like to wait. But believe me, is totally worth! My husband had the Teriyaki ramen... More

We queued outside a while. A sign in the window says, they will not give you a table if your party isn't complet. Meanwhile one waiter already brought us the menu card. So we had a look in advance. We are three and were asked if we like to sit on a so called "Japanese" Table. Not been sure, what... More

I was wondering what I can write here that was not written before. Nothing. I can just agree with all the good reviews and add my applause to the great team of Japanese cooks that prepare the food in a delicious manner. Even the Kimchi and Edamame were way better than in other places. Considering the prices are very reasonable,... More

Went to Takumi because we had good references. First, we had to wait 15 minutes in a line to enter the restaurant. This is due tobthe fact that it is a small space. The food is great. We had miso soups, and it was amazing. We also had some guioza and it was probably the best until today. I tottaly... More

I've been to Takumi with a friend and the experience is like you are right in Japan. There was a line on front of the restaurant because it is very popular, yet mostly japanese citizens which is always a good sign. Short waiting time, nice atmosphere and great beer. Highly recommendable!

如果你像我一樣是亞洲人,並且在旅行的時候想要吃一碗熱湯麵的話,這裡會是你的好選擇,不過正如去日本一樣,要排隊!耐心等待吧! If you are an Asian just like me and thinking of having a hot noddle soup. This is your best choice. But just like you visit Japan, you have to line up to get a seat.
