Our group arrived a bit after opening time and there was already a little line at the door. We did not have to wait long, as the service is really fast. The food is amazing. The ramen broth is great, the noodles have the perfect...bite to them and the veggies have great texture. The gyozas are very light and the takoyaki are deliciously creamy inside. The fried chicken is one of the best I have ever eaten. The staff is very friendly. If you like Japanese food, this is a must go.More

As we wanted to taste Japanese cuisine while visiting Dusseldorf, we can definitely recommend this one. It was really tasty. It's not a kind of fancy place, but you may especially like having a view into the kitchen, watching how busy they are preparing your...dishes.More

The food was deeeeply tasty (I ordered Ramen and Gyoza), the portions were good and it arrived very fast . The fact that you have to wait in the queue outside before you get a seat and the tight space inside are a bit unpleasant,...but overall amazing food so I would say it's definitely worth a visit! (Multiple ones ;)) Ps: very polite waiters!More

I had to queue for about 20/30 mins at around 3pm. The noodles were really good and the portion is rather big. The only thing is that the ramen is quite salty.

Had to queue, usually a good sign, but got in quickly as I was eating along. Ate at the bar overlooking the kitchen, good ramen, although I'm no expert, and good gyoza. Would recommend

Excellent ramen and gyoza! We lived in Japan for 9+ years and this is the best Japanese food that we’ve had since we left 3 years ago!

The restaurant is nothing special to look at, but the food is great and the price is right!! Perfect for a hearty noodle soup.

Okay spot if you’re hungry but the food I ordered wasn’t amazing. Decent karaage but some part were a little too juicy or under cooked. As this place is more of a ramen restaurant, if I had ordered ramen I may have been a happier...customer. Service was nice and waiter gave me some free coasters because I liked the design. 🍜More

Disappointing experience this time comparing with what I had for 4 years ago. I ordered the specialty Butao ramen. It turns out like a grummy stuing. The soup was too salty and fatty and has lost its delicious origin. The bean sprouts were too much...cooked. They used cheap cabage instead of fresh vegi and spring onion. The whole experience was a disappointment.More

I was at two Takumi places (the original and tonkotsu) and in both the ramen was great. The most famous one on Immermannstraße has a long queue most of the time, so you need to come when you’re not hungry yet 😅 but there are...definitely times that aren’t that crowded (during the week mostly). At Tonkotsu I needed to wait only once and for like 5 min.More

I am here at 11:55 AM. No queue. Few tables outside were empty. Told the waiter I need a table for 2 cos My husband is on his way. (Our apartment is 5 mins away) he told me “NO you need to wait at the...queue for your husband” so I went to queue. 1 minute later, another waiter came to me ans I said I need a table for 2 persons please. He led me to the table and gave me 2 menu. Although my husband wasn’t here yet. I already ordered my Ramen, 2 tea and gyoza. Then another girl (waitress) confronted me in a very rude manner. Told me I should not sit here cos my husband is not here yet. I said but your colleague gave me this table. She said NO maybe you did not tell him you are 2 persons!! I said NO because he even gave me 2 menus and took my order.! She insisted that her other colleague told me to wait and I still sitter and took the table! I am so embarrassed as if I did something wrong!! She was sooo rude! I never encountered such attitude in a restaurant here in Düsseldorf!!!More

I was there yesterday with my sister for lunch, everything was so delicious, I felt I was back on holiday in Japan again! The waitresses were very kind and adjusted to our English with no problems. I'm definitely going back!

It was our first time eating ramen at this place. And I absolutely recommend it to everyone visiting or living here. We waited 1hour in line for our turn, but it was worth every second. I would even wait 2hours in line to eat at...this place. THE PLACE TO EAT! We were the last ones in line and saw the disappointment in the faces of the people who couldn’t eat that day at this place, and with that we saw how popular this place is. The staff was amazing, the entire time they were super friendly and respectful. Things you don’t see a lot anymore specially in a busy place/ city like this. We were served better than ever, everyone was super friendly and kind. Specially the chef cook (the one with the tattoos), he was so kind hearted like no one we’ve ever seen. He saw that we waited a long time as last ones in line and saw the great “job” we did telling the people we were the last ones getting served that day. And when we were eating he came and wanted to give us everything we ordered for free. We didn’t accept that because they work like crazy and are worth every single money. When we denied his offer, he came and gifted us extra things like (gyoza/ ramen to go/ ice cream). We were out of our mind how kind he was and wholehearted, and the rest of the staff also. In this place you eat like you’ve never eaten before, and have a great look on Asian etiquette. Something that’s like no other! The food was the best, the staff was the best and it’s also a great location. It was simply AMAZING!More

Lets State that this is the original Takumi review. There are so many franchises now. There are 3 in the immermannstrasse. This spot specializes in shoyu and tonkotsu ramen. To lotus’s is basically pork bone broth. Imho still the ramen spot to beat I. Düsseldorf...or anywhere else in Western Europe. There broth is so much richer and tastier. Even other Takumi stores can’t compare. Just be warned the lines can be huge. Best time come before they open at 12:00.More

I took a vegetarian friend once, and she wasn't satisfied with the taste. You could always opt for the vegetarian-broth, and order more vegetables as "Beilage" (sorry, I don't know the english word for it).
