Takumi Ein sehr beliebtes kleines Ramen Restaurant. -- A very popular little ramen restaurant. The wait is worth it. The menu offers a overseeable selection of ramen. If that's not enough, you can put together your ramen with additional toppings. The taste is very good, everything tastes freshly prepared. And if you have trust issues, you can look into the kitchen separated by a glass wall.

It was our first time eating ramen at this place. And I absolutely recommend it to everyone visiting or living here. We waited 1hour in line for our turn, but it was worth every second. I would even wait 2hours in line to eat at this place. THE PLACE TO EAT! We were the last ones in line and saw the disappointment in the faces of the people who couldn’t eat that day at this place, and with that we saw how popular this place is. The staff was amazing, the entire time they were super friendly and respectful. Things you don’t see a lot anymore specially in a busy place/ city like this. We were served better than ever, everyone was super friendly and kind. Specially the chef cook (the one with the tattoos), he was so kind hearted like no one we’ve ever seen. He saw that we waited a long time as last ones in line and saw the great “job” we did telling the people we were the last ones getting served that day. And when we were eating he came and wanted to give us everything we ordered for free. We didn’t accept that because they work like crazy and are worth every single money. When we denied his offer, he came and gifted us extra things like (gyoza/ ramen to go/ ice cream). We were out of our mind how kind he was and wholehearted, and the rest of the staff also. In this place you eat like you’ve never eaten before, and have a great look on Asian etiquette. Something that’s like no other! The food was the best, the staff was the best and it’s also a great location. It was simply AMAZING!

Visited this well known ramen place on a Saturday morning. Queue was 25min. Staff welcomed and seated us friendly. The dipping ramen exceeded our expectations! Noodles are nicely springy. Noodles came with soy bean sprouts and blanched cabbage, adding another texture to the noodles Bamboo shoots (additional order) were crunchy, not stringy and seasoning was really good. Soft boiled eggs seasoning was also good, maybe a tad overcooked Charsiu was also good, not too sweet, bit charred on the outside and some fat too make it juicy. Service was fast and friendly.

Earlier today, me and my friends went here and waited for almost 45mins outside the store just to try their special Rahmen which is very famous in the city. I'm with my friends (6 or us (also asians) and 1kid in a stroller. We told one of their employees that we can split our group into 3/3 , I mean 3 first then the other 3 will follow whenever a table inside is available. However, we noticed that one of their staff asked the three Germans to come in first, then another three I guess they're from USA to follow after. Their behind us take note! After couple of minutes , it's our turn first three with my 1yr old little boy. So we went inside and asked a high chair for my little one. They laid one, but they told us that it's not possible to use it because the space is not enough inside (although it was) I mean it's only a small high chair. They kept on staring down to us and informed us that we can like ,eat two first then the other one will carry the baby while waiting for the other one to be finished. The japanese guy wearing eye glasses with black hair specifically. I was really disappointed and pissed off. We're really like super hungry and travelled for like 2hrs just to queued and try what they have. They don't even said I'm sorry. So we went outside and went to other restaurant near from that place. I know the quality of the food is superb and it's cheap as well! But sometimes, attitude and values are also some of the keys to have a successful business! I hope that it won't happen to other people. Up until now I'm craving for Rahmen. Thanks!

Disappointing experience this time comparing with what I had for 4 years ago. I ordered the specialty Butao ramen. It turns out like a grummy stuing. The soup was too salty and fatty and has lost its delicious origin. The bean sprouts were too much cooked. They used cheap cabage instead of fresh vegi and spring onion. The whole experience was a disappointment.

As we wanted to taste Japanese cuisine while visiting Dusseldorf, we can definitely recommend this one. It was really tasty. It's not a kind of fancy place, but you may especially like having a view into the kitchen, watching how busy they are preparing your dishes.

I was at two Takumi places (the original and tonkotsu) and in both the ramen was great. The most famous one on Immermannstraße has a long queue most of the time, so you need to come when you’re not hungry yet 😅 but there are definitely times that aren’t that crowded (during the week mostly). At Tonkotsu I needed to wait only once and for like 5 min.

Very tasty and authentic Japanese food. The restaurant itself is very small with a long queue for a table when we visited but we got takeaway which was pretty quick. The staff speak English which is a bonus for tourists. Overall, we had read great things about the food and it did not disappoint.

Our group arrived a bit after opening time and there was already a little line at the door. We did not have to wait long, as the service is really fast. The food is amazing. The ramen broth is great, the noodles have the perfect bite to them and the veggies have great texture. The gyozas are very light and the takoyaki are deliciously creamy inside. The fried chicken is one of the best I have ever eaten. The staff is very friendly. If you like Japanese food, this is a must go.

Just read some reviews on a couple of websites and headed to there. While queuing, noticed it directly, that many Japaneses in Germany bring their guests to the ramen place. It sounded like the foods there are quite authentic and recommended. Everything was fine with the place. Had a quite small problem and a lack of communication with the staffs, because of the language. However, eventually, I’ve got, what I wanted. The foods were just like what I expected, as a person who’s from their neighbour-country. The staffs were very kind and humble.

I came with my girlfriend, we're both huge ramen fans. This place is fantastic, we were lucky enough to come on Tuesday, which is 2x1 Gyoza day. Everything was delicious, and it seems to be a hotspot for the Japanese community in Düsseldorf - which is probably a good sign.

I was surprized, that there was no such range of ramens I saw in pictures here. According that and good reviews I chose it to try. I found a manu on a table only with two soups...red or white and you may chose basic, with extra chicken and with extra somekind ingrediente. So needed chose only one of two. Taste of soup was only average. You may find close to it better place with biger range to choose, better taste and much cheeper. BTW, they forgot my ordered beer, after remind they brought to me.

Lets State that this is the original Takumi review. There are so many franchises now. There are 3 in the immermannstrasse. This spot specializes in shoyu and tonkotsu ramen. To lotus’s is basically pork bone broth. Imho still the ramen spot to beat I. Düsseldorf or anywhere else in Western Europe. There broth is so much richer and tastier. Even other Takumi stores can’t compare. Just be warned the lines can be huge. Best time come before they open at 12:00.

I’ve found when a restaurant is rated #1 it’s flooded with tourists who don’t know what they’re eating but do the most reviews so it stays #1. This was no exception. The ramen was good but I’ve had better in Düsseldorf, particularly at their sister restaurant, Takumi Tonkatsu where I usually go. And especially in Osaka, which this was nothing like. The noodles were excellent and the broth was fine. But there were too many ingredients for the broth. And it was served lukewarm. The egg was still cold. The flavor was fine but not nearly as rich and complex as I’ve had at many others. Luckily the service was great so it didn’t take long. I ordered the Takumi Spezial miso. The clientele seemed to be exclusively tourist. Their sister restaurant seemed to be mostly Japanese. It’s good but hardly #1.

Is a very popular noodle restaurant, but prepare to wait for a table. Small restaurant only not a lot of seats. Noodle is really good and imported from Japan. If you know Japanese food then you will agree with the quality. Whole family love it there and go there anytime we could.
