It was a very cold day in Cologne and we had to wait for mass to be completed before going into the church so we decided to have a nice warm drink and a pastry while we waited. This cafe has the most wonderful pastries and great hot chocolate and different coffees. Just remember as you enter, pick out your... More

Right off the square from the Cathedral at the top of the shopping street sits this lovely Chocolatier. Did I say that everything in the shop looks like a piece of art? Too beautiful to eat and yet you just can't help yourself and must taste this luscious candy. Bought more than we should have and each box made a... More

Came here for apple strudel and coffee in a rainny morning. The place was already crowded, staffs were not very friendly yet providing descent service, the apple strudel was warm and yummy. The patisserie looks so so yummy but too full to try any.

This is a beautiful place to enjoy an exceptional cup of coffee following a tour in Cologne on a cold day. The place was buzzing but after a 3min wait we managed to find a comfortable table (2 families with little children). We ordered four different types of coffee and hot chocolates for the kids, along with some of the... More

A big nice cafe / brasserie that seems to be usually crowded. Service is correct, nothing more. But somewhat expensive. 2 waters, a tea and a coffee cost 15 euro. And that is without any munchees or coockie accompany-ing the drinks. The toilets are really nice, though I wonder what the asian theme has to do with this cafe.

Busy waitress service cafe, with amazing cakes, relaxed atmosphere. The best toilets ever - the doors have 'magic glass' which appear see-through as you enter the cubical - when you lock the door the glass becomes opaque. Awesome for a price of 50c.

A jewel that keeps its value over time, since it first opened in the 80's. A must for visitors, on a rainy or cold day in its classic interiors or the modern veranda. Even nicer on a sunny summer day on the terrace. For coffee and cakes, ice cream or selected food dishes. A place to enjoy Cologne, and enjoy... More

The location, just outside the cathedral, was really nice. We had a couple of sweets and coffee. Everything was tasty, serving was quick and prices OK.
