Perfect place to eat traditional food and to have the topical cologne beer. Staff is very nice as well. Best to book a table as it is full of locals. Had the heaven and earth: black sausage with apple sauce and potato pure. Totally recommended.

Great Koelsch and typical hearty delicious German food to be found here. The beer is tasty and there is only one option: Koelsch. But that's all you need. They'll keep serving you until you put your coaster on top of your glass.

We popped in here after a long trek around Düsseldorf and we're heading back to our hotel in Cologne. We were worn out and needed somewhere 'easy' to stop for a few glasses of kolsch and some nice German food. We had the pork knuckle and the beef rib. Really good value for money as the quality was very high... More

Took my wife there to try German food for the first time. It was good food but the waiter wouldn´t give us much attention and food took too long. Besides this, the location is great and very comfy.

Nuremberg or Nuremberger? I learned them by the longer name so that's what I'm going with. Trip Advisor showed the way, again. Wife and I drove to Köln to visit the cathedral. While there we decided to see if we could find some really good Nuremberger sausages (which are surprisingly hard to find). We went to our old stand by... More

To keep it short, it's a great place. It looks nice, has a lot of character, the food is great and the prices are affordable. Some things were different, enough to surprise, but that didn't change the overall positive impression. First off, they serve beer in a half coke can size glasses, so it's a lot of beer orders. Kinda... More

It was a very nice place and the waitor was a true german! The way they bring the beer and how they count the beer is something i've never seen and it was very cool! We had the schitnzels (ofcourse) and they were delicious :) the place was very cosy! Definitly worth the visit!

If you want the real deal - head on in here. The service is very German. Big burly guy, a bit gruff, but friendly and very very efficient. Never without a beer. The food is really great and big serves. The pork knuckle was to die for and the schnitzel was superb. Can't recommend it enough. But remember to book,... More

I read some reviews about it so decided to visit. We came on 1st of January, but it was closed, so we decided to come next day. I must say, that food is great and prices are very reasonable. Very tasty tomato soup and sausages #21. Highly recommended. The staff was very helpful and nice.
