We has a nice deluxe brunch at Bastian's. We were there on Sunday and the place was super busy. We has to wait about 15 minutes to get the table and the waiting was a bit chaotic to say the least. It seemed that some people got a table quicker. But when we got the table the service was efficient... More

What a fantastic find in Cologne. You have to walk about 10 mins from The Dom to get there but it really is worth it. Excellent, varied menu- lots of continental choices for breakfast. Superb quality and great value. They have an onsite bakery and the bread and croissants were fantastic. Would highly recommend for any course of the day... More

Many options of freshly baked breads and cakes. The staff is friendly and will help you if you don't speak German. Bring CASH! They don't accept credit cards like many places in Cologne.

A very nice collection for breakfast and brunch. Ok prices And family friendly atmosphere. Do try the chocolate cake and any bread product is really nicely hand made. The frittatas are excellent.

Unfortunately we didn't even try the food, as the waiter suddenly came with a "RESERVED" sign once we were already by the table. Found it extremely rude and disrespectful for all my family. I don't want to think bad, but I wonder if they didn't want foreigners sitting there or families with children and trolleys. Whatever the reason was, I... More

cheese cake like a piece of styrofoam. The other not much better. Seriously, this place does not live up to the recommendation stickers at the entrance. Go spend your money elsewhere.

Friendly staff and wonderful local German cuisine. Exactly what we wanted. Weiner schnitzel was the best I've ever had.

We set off to find breakfast on the first day of our trip at around nine from Mediapark towards the old town. After about a mile, we’d seen a couple of Stehcafes (no seats) and rough places. Used to Vienna, where every third establishment is a café or restaurant, we were getting hungry and frustrated. Then we happened upon this... More
