We like cozy restaurants, but as other reviewers had mentioned - the tables are set *very* close to each other - not a good place for private conversations. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and freshness of all the appetizers we tried. The David Hervé oysters were amazing, so was their mixed sashimi appetizer. Some dishes though, particularly the... More

... there was a mouse running through the kitchen (in the dining room, where the desserts & salads are prepared opposite to the cooking area)... No proper excuses were made, only stated that this is a common problem in Cologne... This left a bitter aftertaste.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel. The food was good and the service was attentive, but I'm not absolutely sure it warrants the price, and here is why: The tables are packed quite closely together, so you are very close to the table next to you, the wine is served for you, and kept in a bucket away... Had to sit on high stools, fusion food with a Japanese twist. My meal was ok, my colleagues were very disappointed and one main course was hardly eaten. It was very expensive for what we had. Service was quite slow and we had to keep prompting staff! Would probably not go again as had better food in the Hans-Stuber and... More

The place has an open kitchen, with the tables arranged around it. Food was great, but expensive. Apparently rated as one of the best seafood / fish places in Germany.

Best fish in town… Since it’s Cologne, not South coast of France for instance, or Catalonia, may be they have not bad fish. But definitely not the best. Situated not in the very center, not touristic. Ambience not very traditional: there is an open kitchen right there and a bar right around. So all that they cook you can see... More

Ate here during a business trip to Cologne. Good choice of fish, excellent quality food. Expensive, but very good. Nice atmosphere, with open plan kitchen.

Got a list of where to eat in Cologne online and this topped it. As the title gives away it's a fish restaurant set up as a fine dining restaurant and I think it is Michelin star. Was very expensive for what it was but I seriously couldn't fault the food. It was a quiet Tuesday night and it's great... More

Fresh fish, excellent service, very clean and comfortable. Totally recommend it! Ordered the sole and calamaretti as started, delicious! The staff is super friendly.

The food is sooo average, service is quite bad as well....But the main point was that they made double transaction and didn't even say sorry. And more... Manager asked what we want to do now and that its normal that they take your card inside.Be careful! And the last, everything in this restaurant is about early 2000.Don't waste your time... More
