All reviews fish stew irish bar quiz night great guinness pullman hotel bric a brac close to our hotel adorning the walls friday saturday the food is great highly recommend you visit opening hours are quality of food pint midday furnishings
Ordered Coke Zero but got Pepsi-light. Yuck!
Had to ask to have items taken off bill because we did not receive. Waitress was unfriendly throughout meal.
We discussed not returning because of this experience. We needed to stop at another restaurant to get more food.
If there's one pub I know I am going to visit on any holiday I take to Cologne it's The Jameson Distillery Pub And Restaurant, a pub that offers a warm welcome and served great pub grub and has a fine selection of beverages.
I...love the look of this pub,its huge, the interior is awesome, exposed brickwork, tv's to enjoy the sport, a stage area for live music, great decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and all the Irish bric a brac adorning the walls you would expect to find in a good Irish pub, theres also plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside on their covered terrace, it's just one really good pub.
My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Thursday night, we had just been to Sadie's Irish Pub ( Gereonswall ) and enjoyed some great pints of guinness and as we were both in a guinness mood headed to The Jamison Distillery Pub And Restaurant, we got a table were a very pleasant member of staff took our order of a guinness each, these were poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle,we just chilled out and took in the great pub we were in while sipping our guinness.
My guinness was exceptional, a thick, creamy and most importantly iced cold guinness, just a joy to drink.
On this visit I cannot really comment on the meals as we were here only for guinness but I have ate here on many occasions over the years and the meals are just superb, proper pub grub.
We really enjoyed our guinness in here and the great laid back vibe so much so that we ended up staying for another pint of the black stuff before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
The Jameson Distillery Pub And Restaurant is easy to locate along Friesentstraße.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Thursday, Midday till 1am.
Friday & Saturday, Midday till 3am.
Sunday, Midday till 1am.

My husband found this bar / restaurant as it was relatively close to our hotel and got good reviews. I have to say it was a really nice meal and well priced.
I had the steak pie which was lovely and my husband had the...Irish stew which he also said was lovely. Two meals and 2 drinks each was €45 which I though was not bad - would definitely recommend.More
Every city has Irish bars but that usually means they sell Guinness and put up an Irish flag.
NOT this one. It’s amazing. We have been in here all 4 nights during our stay in Cologne. It’s literally next door to our hotel. How fantastic...The food is great and not to expensive. The drinks are very reasonable too. But by far and away the best thing is the ATMOSPHERE. It rocks!
Quiz night was great. jam with the band was good because the musicians are fantastic. Some of the singers were certainly enjoying themselves even if they’ll never be Adele or Amy Winehouse
We were staying at the Pullman Hotel, and the Jameson Pub is just 5 minutes walk away.
The inside is actaully pretty big, with a variety of tables available, although we had booked a table.
The staff here are really friendly and helpful, there is...a great choice of foood which is really good and of course pint servings of Guiness or Kilkenny, plus loads of other drink choices.
The night we were there, they had "Live Band Karoeokee" , which I guess is more like an open mic night, and the band was great as well as a lot of the "singers".
So, a really good nigh and would really recommend this pub.More
